One of the reasons that I go to quill mall is because I want to avoid overcrowded malls during weekends/holidays where you have to fight for parking most of the time or queue for fitting rooms as well as queue just to eat a simple meal. Quill Mall's crowd is reasonable for me to visit frequently but not too quiet and dead mall like sunwai putra/maju junction/viva home. Quill Mall also have brands that I like which are AEON+GSC+H&M+DAISO

If I can get my stuff at AEON and H&M for example, why bother to go to overcrowded malls? Besides, at a very reasonable parking rates, I can spend my time for as long as I want at quill mall and watch movie at GSC (sometimes 2 movies at the same day) for many hours without have to worry about the parking charges.

Quill definitely wont be klcc or pavilion(not even close). I am just giving example and dont understand why would ppl go to quill instead of klcc or pavilion. KLCC and pavilion have both luxury and affordable brands, dude!!! bangwall.gif bangwall.gif The only thing i agree with you is overcrowded. Who ask u to park at klcc or pavilion? You can always park nearby for cheaper rates.

don’t know why you are so negative about quill city mall?? This mall may not be perfect but it still reasonable as compared to many other dead malls with very few outlets. So, one outlet closed down means the entire mall is not doing well?? bangwall.gif bangwall.gif Tell me, which other mall’s tenants does not move out at all? if one outlet move out from avenue k for example, why not you conclude that the mall is not doing well?? Funny...

It’s true that quill have lesser tenants as of now and as I said earlier, more brands are starting to move in and the occupancy rate is improving. If you want to compare, at least the crowd is improving as far as I observe each time I visit the mall and yes they perform much better than nearby putra mall on weekends/holidays although can’t beat with pavilion & klcc. Also, tell me why putra doesn’t perform well although they have more brands than quill and is surrounded by condos, office tower, LRT station, and hotel? Why not you say putra is not doing well since they also experienced of outlets moving out as well?? rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

All of us have our favourite malls that we like to go and it’s a matter of preference. Since you like pavilion and klcc so much, then go ahead and I will go for my favourite malls. Enough said!

Haha why fight n argue abt Quill mall compared with other malls people? Everybody is entitled to their opinion n to each his own which mall suited one best. Too many neighbourhood malls mushrooming up in d region have spread thin d crowds. Shouldn't dis forum b discussing abt Colony n it's nearby amenities n attractions instead of which mall out beat which lol? I am just thankful dat there is a nice mall right at d doorsteps for d everyone's convenience dats it:)

If dats not nearby n convenient enough, then one must be an invalid dat needs to be wheeled everywhere right from one's doorsteps....or perhaps for someone who has not lived overseas before or hardly travel d world to appreciate d true meaning of convenience n nearby, well within walking distance:)

I do agreed with u dat d Colony side of Jln Sultan Ismail is still very much underdeveloped, but b rest assured of its potential in d very near future.

maybe, but i definitely wont taking risk to buy anything which have to hold until the place has well developed or matured, unless the banks gave me 0%interest loan ..haha. just worried that the time when the place is matured but the building is old. Besides, with such price i have lot of options to get a good unit,

just visited putra on yesterday and noticed Asian avenue, vanity hall, digital centre still empty and dead even after 1 year. shall see what happens after the contract ends...
