oh ya btw tbh valencia couldnt have overshadowed nani in every way in the match because his crossings were poor and he didnt create as many chances as nani...i thk that's pretty clear cut  icon_rolleyes.gif

His crossings werent all poor. Few of the best crosses direct infront of goals are by him. So dangerous.
I believe if saf were to rage at someone today its definately nani. Habislah nani laugh.gif

I just wonder if Carrick hadn't scored because he was tripped, would the GK have been sent off and if so would we have missed yet another penalty.

Extra training session at Carrington - practice penalties.

TBH, sloppy game after the early goal. Although I love goals, but sometimes, we get slightly over-confident after getting an early goal.

Nani, he did not do great nor bad. Average at most. Even Valencia lacked of the accuracy from what I see today. Also, I wonder what happened to our penalties this season. Still, missing a penalty, but getting wins = fair trade?

MOTM (For me) - De Gea with the saves. A clean sheet, a win. What's more to ask?

Here's a good read.

Pardew: Ba could leave in January
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has revealed unsettled striker Demba Ba could leave the club for as little as £7 million when the transfer window reopens in January.

sos

just wondering what the agents thinking.
the manager cannot play his best side in every match.
he has to control his resources and think the best for the team.
i think pardew is right to focus on BPL.

QUOTE
Carragher urged to stay at Liverpool
Rodgers has indicated that it will be up to the 34-year-old defender to decide whether to continue playing or join the coaching staff. Carragher has started three of Liverpool's four Europa League matches this season, but has played only half-an-hour of Premier League football.

sos

he's probably be an automatic start for most mid table sides.

QUOTE
Villas-Boas impressed by Lloris
He is set to bide his time on the bench for the time being, however, as 41-year-old Brad Friedel is the club's current first-choice shot-stopper.

There have already been suggestions of a rift between Lloris and Villas-Boas, but the Spurs boss has insisted he has been impressed with the new arrival after watching him perform in training.

sos

just wondering how come keepers can go to our competitors cheaper and easier than coming to united.
he probably thinks he can get games at spurs but how friedel in on fire so he cannot get a match, oh the pain brows.gif

QUOTE
Fergie takes blame for Nani miss
"To be honest with you, I have no idea why Nani took it," said Ferguson. "I think Nani just ran and grabbed the ball. "I thought Robin should have taken it, to be honest with you. I think we will have to decide before the game, which is my fault, I should have done that.

sos

i think nani trying to get a better deal at united so grab the ball thought he can be hero if score.

Nani is trying to do too much. He need to focus what he do best. Get a few good matches and he will get his career back on track. Probably he still think his World Cup performance has made him think he is world class. Thus he wants a world class footballer contract when he has yet to produce consistently at club level.

In the spirit of reconciliation with Liverpool as advised by SAF, here's a humorous, non-offensive clip.

Time to focus for Anfield game. Nervous, but feeling wee bit confident as I think most players are already focussing on that game. Just wanted to go through with last night's game with full points rather than full-on efforts which would take too much energy. That's just MHO, maybe
