i read it on ch818 yesterday, "Zenit set to complete 25 mil Man Utd's Nani".. i was shocking shocking.gif totally disappointed if its true.. that price are too low. and the lure are from Zenit, not some mega clubs like Barca /Madrid.

Nani is probably the most talented winger we got. i rate his talent as good as Rooney and RVP, and might reach world class status in a year or two.

but so far no confirmation yet.. hold my breath sweat.gif

har really? set to complete? that would be sad.. yeah i rate nani quite high as well.. he seems to do well very well at times.. even tho inconsistent..  perhaps he refuse to sign new contract so we have to sell him? or maybe sell to fund ronaldo return? or use to fund neymar? that would be even better... lololol

Russian transfer deadline has passed, so Nani will going nowhere.. with Young injured, LW spot are Nani's with Welbeck and Giggs provide cover.

if SAF still put Welbeck ahead of Nani, there's definitely a problem between Nani and SAF (contract issue). the early excuse was, Nani isnt fit enough.

put RVP on bench even he's fit to play. i expect Kagawa also need some rest. Welbeck and Hernandez are fit and eager to prove something to the gaffer. hope Nani will get a start and start banging some goals. he's deserve to get a better contract and put wild speculations into bed.

my line up

DDG

Rafael-Ferdinand-Vidic-Evra

Valencia-Anderson-Cleverley-Nani

Welbeck-Hernandez

sub:AL, Buttner, Evans, Carrick, Giggs, Scholes, RVP

Carrick come in to beef up MF and play with a lone striker () when we in comfortable position.

Giggs /Scholes /RVP to save the day if we screw up.

forwarded from Redcafe..

QUOTE
Hi Redcafe, I'm a Galatasaray fan who has some insight into Gala for you.

After finishing 8th in the 2010/2011 season coach Fatih Terim took over and had us finish 9 points ahead of Fenerbahce last season, there was a one off play off system between the top 4 but we still won the league after having our points halved and playing 6 more games. This season we've started well beating Fenerbahce in the Super Cup and we sit top of the ladder with 3 wins and 1 draw (the draw being a Besiktas away game).

Expected squad for the United game (4-4-2)

Fernando Muslera
Emmanuel Eboue - Semih Kaya - Cris - Hakan Balta
Emre Colak - Selcuk Inan - Felipe Melo - Nordin Amrabat
Umut Bulut - Burak Yilmaz

Subs:
Ufuk Ceylan - Dany Nounkeu - Yekta Kurtulus - Aydin Yilmaz - Hamit Altintop - Engin Baytar - Johan Elmander

Injured:
Tomas Ujfalusi (Long term injury)

Out of favor:
Milan Baros - Albert Riera

Players to look out for:
Selcuk Inan - Gala's most important player who plays as a deep playmaker.
Nordin Amrabat - Speedy left winger.
Umut Bulut - In form striker who has 7 goals in 5 games this season.

our old friend is coming.. Liverpool rejects also coming..

great to see Fletcher coming back.. i always have a doubt, but happy to see im wrong on this.. hopefully he can improve his fitness and coming back to his level 2,3 years ago, and Cleverley and Anderson progress well and stay fit. we'll have very decent midfield.

not worry much about Liverpool. though they are game raiser against us.

their new manager seem keen to play proper football, keep the ball well and on the ground. it suit us more cause recently we are more struggling with 'physical' football. less high cross for DDG to deal with (if he play) since their forward line arent much tall, though Skertl could hurt us in corner kicks. Gerrard and Suarez freekicks are always dangerous.

Lucas was always a key player against us in recent years. his absence a big plus for us. though Allen seem good enough to fill the void left by the Brazilian.

hopefully we'll see an entertaining game. United vs Liverpool usually a dull affair, all about passion and result. normally i'll take a draw away at Anfield, but i really want to see a win this time..

unlikely for Scholes to play 3 games in 7-8 days, he already showed signs of fatigue during the CL game, for me just use back the lineup against Galatasaray, but swap Evans for Rio, Cleverley or Anderson for Scholes

but we sucked at Anfield for the past few years, so not really hoping much for this Sunday, just that we play good football, that's all
*
from starting CL team in midweek.. probably SAF will swap
Evans for Ferdinand
Scholes for Giggs /Cleverley, i prefer Cleverley. actually Scholes will be my top choice but seem unlikely because he already started twice in less a week. Carrick-Cleverley will be solid for defending, but less creative coming forward. creativity spark can be provide by Kagawa and Nani.

i got no problem with either GK, but i hope SAF retain DDG. Liverpool unlikely to play with long balls /high crosses.

keep Rooney on bench even if he fit to start. try Rooney-RVP combo on home game first. this will be high tempo and crunching game, no need for experimental.

Sterling vs Rafael will be exciting duel. Sterling could also be a real threat against Evra, pace /trickery vs experience.

i read somewhere (other forum) Valencia will be out for 2weeks.. so, we'll be rely solely on Nani as winger, and old Giggsy..

4-3-3 will be another choice..

i love to see this line up in coming CL match
GK
Rafael-CB-CB-Evra
Cleverley - Carrick - Anderson
Nani - RVP - Kagawa or Rooney

Kagawa or Rooney to play LF, or drop deep in place of Anderson (he's lack of stamina to last 90min)

draw at Newcastle are good enough for me, if u ask me in last August. but since we lost against Spurs, a win are essential to make up that lost.

Evans and Ferdinand fitness are worrying me. international breaks are relief.

good win in Romania. RVP and Rooney partnership showed a some promises. i prefer we retain that line up, just swap Fletcher to Carrick, Hernandez to Kagawa/Nani.

but knowing SAF, Lindergaard and Scholes probably play. im not a fan for this kind of rotation.

I believe Shawcross actually deserves a spot in current defenders that they have (with Cahill Lescott Jagielka). Maybe the fact he's playing in Stoke which is lesser team compare the others affect Roy's judgement, it won't take many seasons before he's moving to a big club imo. *tbh I hope that big club is United  biggrin.gif
*
Stoke defending as a unit with big, tall and strong players. Shawcross decent defending quality are just another tree in forest.

i rate him, but atm i put he as 4th choice behind Cahill, Lescott and Jagielka.

QUOTE(Wan @ Oct 19 2012, 11:08 AM)
SAF tried to compete with King Kenny on the most ridiculous transfers made. Safe to say we knew who won. Stuck in reserve, and with the players coming through he would even struggle to get games there. He's raw. Got the physical tools, but making him turn into a footballer probably a lifetime still won't finish. Who knows how he turns out years from now. But I see this along the lines of Bellion, Manucho, Dong.. we take a punt, and hope for the best. Most of the time, it doesn't work out. It's the way it is with these kind of deals. We will continue to make them. Cheap enough, though I think the fee for Bebe was on the high side a bit considering who he was at the time. Nobody.
*
i think its missing opportunity. we should hire a hollywood production and follow Bebe 24/7 since his arrival and then make movie call "from Lisbon's street to Old Trafford"

whether he make it or not doesnt matter. his route to Old Trafford will be novelty and inspirational.
