Does sony xperia go come with front camera? From what I heard it doesn't have front camera, but I went to visit Sony Center last weekend, the promoter told me that current batch of sony xperia Go do come with front VGA camera and its capable of doing 3G Video calls rclxub.gif

Yesterday, I updated my wife's Xperia Go to ICS under S/W update version 6.1.1.B.1.10.

http://www.ptcrb.com/vendor/complete/view_...m?modelid=21390

Well, I think it is OK..it is quite laggy/stunted/whatever while scrolling a long list. But, the rest are great for ICS. It has a fast effect when changing between portrait/landscape orientation. Battery usage seems to have some improvements (maybe, some old services have been disabled - it can be checked via the new Performance Assistant app.) GSM/UMTS signal is stable than before (GB). I have tried the Walkman app...well it is nothing to shout about...I haven't tried the app icons size enlargement feature. I haven't tried GPS performance/sensitivity without A-GPS support yet.

Xperia Go is expected to get JB update in coming November... can't wait longer... smile.gif

Haha, really? Every review says that Xperia Go has no front-facing camera. There is an opinion entry by an Indian guy in GSMArena does say it has FFC...with 0.3MP resolution, hahah. I don't think it has FFC...What you do see at the top right corner from the front view are sensors including the barometric pressure sensor.

Wooooooo! The Xperia U, Sola and Go have begun to receive ICS as of today! All of Sony's 2011 and 2012 lineup (except the Play) are now running ICS, they are the only Android OEM that can say it. Onwards to Jelly Bean! I have been informed that the Jelly Bean roll out will be much faster than ICS and that a few devices are already running it flawlessly but Sony have been waiting until they finished the ICS roll out before starting Jelly Bean. They didn't want to push JB out to newer devices while making previous owners wait for ICS being stuck on GB.

All of Sony's 2012 range will be running JB before the end of November and hopefully the whole 2011 range by the end of January. From today, no Sony Mobile device will be released running an older version of Android and the Xperia V should get a day zero update for JB when it releases in November.

Finally, the original Tablet S was updated today, it received the new remote app, the new media apps, guest mode and a bunch of software fixes and optimisations. Jelly Bean is around a month or two away apparently for both the Xperia Tablet S and the vanilla Tablet S so they didn't bother with 4.0.4.

This is the last gonna trust so called waterproof phone and never gonna bought any!

SEMS called and they say my phone is the last warranty will be given and consider void!

they put blame on me that i did not cover the phone properly and cause water to go inside the phone.

this still in negotiations between me and them! my phone used less than a month and they wanna void my warranty sad.gif

1st time (warranty) - 1 day use try to wash it, water goes inside the screen (phone not dead, watery screen)

2nd time (warranty) - try record video in pool, less than 1 minute (phone dead, water inside, camera, screen, etc)
