Got official update already. I connected to the computer and the update popped up. Mine is now on ICS smile.gif

It is similar to any other ICS out there e.g. Swipe to close etc. Nothing different I would say. As for battery life, no comments yet tongue.gif

Unfortunately it didn't fix the GPS and fluctuating network issue that I had. It makes me to feel that those problems are related to hardware now. Will bring my phone to Sony to get it checked.

Once the update had been downloaded, plus off the cable from both computer and phone. Turn off the phone.

Then plug in to the computer first. After that, hold the volume down and while holding, plug in the cable. The menu on your computer will react and then you can leave the phone to update.

My first impressions on the updates:
the system feels a bit slower although i' not sure.maybe it just me.
the back light seem to be dim..well that all for now sweat.gif

juz ROOT mine acro s by this method....

my usage for this phone is minimum but i like to keep in check what i can do,
i am waiting for a nice custom rom before changing

Are you using AP set or Original set?

do mind that AP set get the update slightly or abit more then original sets,


Added on September 30, 2012, 1:25 pmit seem that Xperia Go got the first inline to get ICS updates

AP sets get abit behind the que in ICS update like original set get update on 28 but AP set might get update abit late
