QUOTE(troy29 @ Jan 3 2013, 08:07 PM) Atleast you got one case to protect it, plenty of choice from Ebay many colour and material types... Im more worried the center chrome metal plate get scratched compared to the plastic. That plate looks very nice. At least with case the plate is not in direct contact with any surfacecurrently mine naked for 2 weeks didn't get any scratches at all la, depend on how you handle ur L920 la. I saw, a cyan cover case for black l920 would be nice. |

Guys, the proximity sensor is not in the front cam, it is on the right of the front cam, right above the N alphabet of Nokia logo, a dark oval object, you will only notice it when u shine bright light on the screen, very well-hidden. Most SPs didn’t cut that section. My SP that came with Nilkin case doesn’t affect the sensor though.

QUOTE(GKWong @ Jan 4 2013, 03:54 PM) another thing I worrying is that their Purity headphones or wireless charger only available after March... then our RM150 voucher would be expired by that time... huhuhu Eh, got expiry date? (If got also so fast expire?)I helped a friend order a Lumia also and collected it for him, in exchange for all my work im taking his voucher wahahahaha... RM 300 off a headset I dont want the Pro (wireless one), just want to normal one that works via the cable (the one released with Lumia 800/900, comes with pink, cyan, instead of yellow and red)... That one also need RM 500+ i think, if can get 300 bucks off i will consider than one, since my Lumia 920 is white i dun have to worry no yellow or red ones. The Pro wireless one damn exp... Heard it's RM 800+... RM800+ i'd use it to buy other brands of audiophile-class headset instead. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 4 2013, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jan 4 2013, 04:21 PM) not worth. I am using Monster Headset WH930 it sound okay only. it sounds better on note 2. I suggest you go find alternative better. I see. It looked stylish to me so i wondered if i should get one, im using Sennheiser HD449 but that one only sounds good for Acoustic songs - higher fidelity and treble, and i have the HD 203 for pop/R&B, more bass performance but the stupid cable is 3meter long, looking for a headset specific for bass performance. I also experience damaged headphones before because of wire problem form accidental pulls or tangles. So, im looking for one with removable cable. Monster's Purity is exactly like that, and portable. Added on January 4, 2013, 4:28 pm QUOTE(GKWong @ Jan 4 2013, 04:22 PM) The person that called me for address told me the expiry is 31st March 2013. And you must show your receipt or warranty card together with that voucher to purchase anything from Nokia Store. Not sure if they allow us to combine 2 voucher or not My fren wil have his warranty card of course, but im keeping all the receipts. He didnt ask for it. On combine voucher, i realise there is a possibility that we cant combine - if cannot i go for the wireless charger. If can i'd get a big discount off the monster headset...This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jan 4 2013, 04:28 PM |

QUOTE(troy29 @ Jan 4 2013, 05:58 PM) Next Lumia flagship codenamed"catwalk", will be release within this year. Also corning gorilla class 3 showcases on ces next week. Haiz..... Yea, saw the news in Phonearena. To make it thinner and lighter they are using Aluminium, which i actually dont like. Aluminium gets scratched very easily (my N8 also like that). I wont get new phone until 2014, 2 year cycle for me, but for the sake of survival Nokia better put in monster specs or newer innovation. I fear the lack of support for 1080p in windows phone so far may hold back Nokia in terms of competition. |

QUOTE(willsonloo @ Jan 4 2013, 06:34 PM) look liao tell me i also want buy M50's impedance is too high for mobile devices. For mobile devices, under 35 ohms or it will not loud enough and only drain the batteries. Mine 32 ohms already need to push the volume to 70-80%.Added on January 4, 2013, 6:40 pm i am using Audio-Technica ATHM50 not bad |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jan 4 2013, 07:47 PM) the problem now is not the headset or earphones but the audio chip sux on the lumia 920. So the device unable to unleash its real potential. I have experienced a lot worse - my asus laptop... made a branded headphone sound like pasar malam headset, bass almost non existent, too muddy... =.=;Lumia 920's one still ok to me. QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jan 4 2013, 08:41 PM) Added on January 4, 2013, 8:42 pm not necessary dude. Some ppl spend alot money on their headphones to find out the quality is okay but the headphone still have many potential to be unlocked but due to the audio chip its limited Its like having a ferrari that can easily reach 320kph but your car is limited to 100kph only. Get that. |

On sound quality, bass alone doesnt determine the sound quality - Im one of those who dislike excessive bass. I dunno how some people enjoy music, like you know, the background is boom boom boom but u can barely hear the song's lyrics or other instruments used in the song.

QUOTE(plue_fc @ Jan 5 2013, 01:31 PM) Hi guys, I'm thinking to get a lumia 920, just wanna ask is it worth spending rm1999 on it? (because for me thats quite a lot of money, just dont want to regret it From my point of view it's more like, whether you are willing to try windows phone, which may not be as feature-packed as Android but good enough for us so far. Most people use Android or iOS. Because, if you are indeed interested in Windows Phone, Lumia 920 (or 820 or 620 if budget is a problem) is the only one i can recommend - It's the best windows phone currently, even when compared to HTC 8X. Yes, HTC's model is lighter and slimmer but you'd want to consider the advantages of a Nokia model especially in exclusive apps and free guided GPS.Some bugs you read will be fixed in an upcoming update by February. |
