In case you don't know, WP does support SD, however, Nokia choose to discard it on their flagship but 820.

And MS has decided to dump Zune and go back to native window sync.

Except that WP users are not allowed to install apps on the SD card. It is just for pure storage.

Wp users are saying it's slow. Used to lag but an update fixed that. Now the loading time is slow. Symbian's whatsapp is probably a lot better than wp's.

Maybe a current wp user could tell us more here.

Heard from some chinese forum you need to turn off power saving for Whatapps to work properly as the power saving feature will turn off certain functions which cause the app to fail.

Stephen Elop(nokia CEO) just explained about the SD card absence in 920.

JOSEPH VOLPE  4:10 PM (Engadget)
Can you please tell us why there is no SD card slot in the Lumia 920?

STEPHEN ELOP  4:11 PM
It was a design and engineering tradeoff for us. From the design side with our flagship product, we were very focused on having clean lines of design with the smallest number of interruptions as possible. As well, we were already packing a LOT into the 920 ... the floating lens technology, wireless charging, etc. With the availability of SkyDrive and LTE, we made that choice.
so... there u have it. the 920 does not comes with SD card expansion... BUT whats stopping us? I'm still going to get this awesome phone! rclxms.gif

I think I will go for white...other colors are way too bombastic for me XD

Cyan would be nice, but probably I won't wait for it to arrive

I hope nokia will get back to business like in the old days with the release of this new phone.

a big nokia fan of course and no doubt this will be the phone ill buy when its out on the spot!

there's nothing for me to argue what pricing it'll be for this phone. couldn't even care less if it'll cost me more than RM5000 for this phone.

really excited and cant wait no more. thumbs up to nokia and wish them all the best with the release of other phones in the future.

RM5000 is too much. But again I got my Dopod u1000 at RM4200 last time.
Just wishes the launch date don't collide with WiiU, or my pocket is going to bleed like hell.
Also, there are so many 3DS and Vita games in the near horizon which get launch at the same time and period shocking.gif
