So I heard that i'm supposed to take Vitamins, fish oil, and what not. However, not all supplements give us the quality of nutrition and vitamins we need to bulk up. Any suggestions for a supplement worthy of its quality?

If you're expecting the "vitamins, fish oil and what not" to put on bulk, of course its not working. You're looking for protein/carbs to bulk up man. Either that or I misinterpreted your question. But if I got it correct, I suggest you read up on what you actually need first, because if I'm right, you have no idea what you need. |

Any suggestions for a supplement worthy of its quality? u are actually asking about the brand aren't u?..if u are...i suggest u save ur time...and prolly money too...fish oil is fish oil no matter who produces it..unless u're talking about a scam which says fish oil on the box but instead is something else...which would be a whole different issue then.. u'd prolly be better off comparing the IUs and elements than worrying about the brands.. jz my 2 cents |

Hey zack1992,
I do agree with some of the replies in this tread that supplements do not really help you to bulk up. These supplements are vital for our well-being and health, and should be a staple in most of our diets. Supplements acts as an insurance against nutritional gaps we suffer daily. For fish oil, do make sure that it goes through a process of distillation. Some fish oil are derived from wild caught salmon. (A friend of mine told me that she consumes fish oil derived from SHARKS!!! I would definitely stay away from it since these fellas carries copious amount of mercury in them) For multivits, make sure there's no iron, unless if you suffer from any health complication such as anemia which requires you to consume iron or a woman with regular menstrual periods (we can get plenty of iron from our diets and unfortunately, iron is one of the few minerals we can eliminate from our system (except via blood loss). Too much iron is toxic since its an oxidizing agent. Cheers regards, Kobe24 This post has been edited by Kobe24: Sep 25 2012, 12:39 AM |

Basic fish oil, and basic vitamin C. Don't worry too much about it. The ones who grow the best keep things simple. No point paying too much attention to finer details if the big picture is not part of the equation. |
