Guys, I got 2 questions:

1. Once rooted your phone and change kernel only, do you still receive official update if you get JB?
2. For those who rooted their phone, what kernel do you use? Siyah macam long time no update for ICS part. Now I am currently using Phenomenal. Any others I should look at?

Like this very mafan la =( May I know is there other way to wipe internal memory only?

Setting > Wipe.

If you don't think format memory, it won't format it.

Known Bugs and other comments (with fixes, if any)

XXDLI8 - BTU
- Changelist: 178140
- Doesn't seem any different in real terms to previous leaks

XXDLI7 - BTU
-extSDCard exfat 4gb file limit to copy new files
-transparency bug in nova or apex still exists
-led dim for some people occasionally

XXDLI7 - Nordic Countries

XXDLI6 BTU
- Transparency bug in Nova and Apex still exists
- Framerate has been increased again (makes the whole rom feel more buttery)
- Still 833mb available ram
- reports of all keyboard bugs being fixed

XXDLI5 - France - Build Date 12-09-2012
- Same as BTU LI5 (below) but applied over the French base rom not the UK base rom.

UBDLI1
- Trinidad and Tobago
- Still has Transparency bug in Nova and Apex Launchers
- No suggestions on stock keyboard (Csc issue?)
- Reports suggest its back to being smoother - vsync working properly again?

XXDLI5
- Similar to LI3 and 4

XXDLI4
- early signs are no visible changes from LI3

XXDLI3
- Still has some minor graphical glitches if you use Nova or Apex launchers (might need updates to those apps and not the rom to fix this)
- Google Chrome not included
- If you plug into a pc without required drivers the phone produces a message to warn you.
- LED brightness still weird

XXDLI2
- 833mb Avaliable Ram
- Still has some minor graphical glitches if you use Nova or Apex launchers (might need updates to those apps and not the rom to fix this)
- Settings menu not as compact as previous leaks
Hm.... anyone else notice any differences between XXDLI7 vs XXDLI8 ?

Nope. Wipe using setting there will not wipe your internal sd if you did not think format internal memory. If you think format internal memory, then yes it will format.

Factory reset using your phone setting will wipe clean your phone internal storage.
If you do wipe data/factory reset via CWM..the very FIRST time you do it will wipe clean your internal storage. The second time wont wipe your internal storage anymore.

Hello fellow sifus, i need some help here.

So i've installed Apex Launcher to try it out. I realised that the widgets that I add on apex launcher look weird and misaligned.

Here's an example.

This is a picture of the widgets alignment with STOCK LAUNCHER. They look perfectly fine and aligned.

And here is a picture of the widgets alignment with Apex LAUNCHER. They look weird (too small / misaligned)

I was wondering, How do I fix the spacing / alignment of the widgets to make it aligned just like on the stock launcher?

Also, i'm using the free version of apex launcher.

Any help is appreciated. THANK YOU! biggrin.gif

Certain apps/widgets meant to be use with Touchwiz launcher. If use 3rd party launcher you will coming on out of accurate size. Either you get much smaller or much bigger size.
Dont think can do anything about it though

I see... Then why we still need to type the code in dial pad if this method already can wipe internal memory?

My current setting is 4x4.

I've tried 4x5, 5x5 and 5x4, still no help. It still stays weird looking.

I may be mistaken but right go to nova settings by the bottom left button on your S3.

then go to drawer. Change the drawer app grid and see if that fixes it :/

So maybe if you set the same grid of apps allowed to be plotted on the screen, then maybe you can get the same look like on touchwiz ? hmm.gif

Thats my theory.

Just back home playing with the settings, but there already 3 times the so called "Software Update" (different download size each) which need to reboot and saw Android is upgrading message. Why 3 times? Can't just upgrade all at once?  hmm.gif

How can I prevent my Picasa pictures from appearing in my Gallery?

Thank you!  blush.gif

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705866

the one i tested as rock steady is wanamlite XXDLI7

so i won't give any guarantee XXDLI8 will be the same. You will need to investigate over at the xda wanamlite thread for other user comments.
