ya.. perhaps.. but form the picture it tell almost the same but no mater how, it still a great laptop.

Lenovo has redesigned the Y400 cooling with bigger wire mesh ventilation below the hot spot. Its getting ready for the SLI GPU.
It thermal design is better than Y480 and save the trouble for dust cleaning.
Wish they have resolved the thermal design flaw in Y480/Y580 where HDD temp is relatively high.

I think they move the south bridge to another place lo, the main reason why HDD temp is high is not cause by copper pipeline but is the south bridge, the south bridge is just back to the HDD place only...

It's HDD itself unable to cooling down. See my report at the above link.

still, i am still quite surprised that Lenovo didn't opt for AMD to have a dual GPU solution... granted the CPU side is lacking, but AMD APU integrated graphic can hold it's own, and CrossFire scales better than SLI...

15.6" in 1366x768

The display set is 1366x769, but it got come with FHD model too la...

does it worth for wait? i dont think so bcoz no graphic card improvement.

And with starting price US$649, I think if we max out the spec it will be damm expensive lol...

the design not really attractive..simple and still heavy btw
