high tension ?.. is it an electric guitar or an "electrified" guitar you're playing on ?
my wife strongly despised my current solo (and so did I to be frank), so i have to redo it |

I'm not that good. Anyway I would like to give my 2 cent advice:
1) Carefull on your timing 2) Do not play completely out off scale. It's OK play abit slow. |

Actually, have to agree with Jemi..... alot of us still think playing fast is impressive......
As long as the groove is there, doesn't matter if it's fast or slow. My solo wasn't earth shattering fast... but at least I TRY to keep it in time and nail all the notes right everytime....... |

Yeah, second Jemi's comment. HH7, work on your bends and vibratos too, some of the bends aren't in tune.
Haven't start recording yet lol, maybe this Friday. |

Also, whoever's recording next, please erase (or silence) the static noises at the end....... I still cringe when I hear it.

Its not a comment, just piece of advice to all including me.
As blacktix said, its not about playing slow slow or fast. This an opportunity to all of us to learn scale & melody. Best to have discipline on our playing. Take your time when creating melody. Try this: Re play what ever recorded. This post has been edited by Jemi: Feb 21 2006, 06:22 PM |

I know... on the last Jam...... took me soooooo long to nail one. I'm STILL not happy with it.....
THat's why this time I learned that the first few takes are always the best. |
