In music, everything's only limited to your imagination! Have you seen The Who's keyboard player? His synthesizer's plugged into the Line 6 POD XT!
He probably uses it for the effects and overdrive anyway, but it looked pretty cool heh. |

QUOTE(modD @ Feb 9 2006, 02:34 PM) something prog-metal like Dreamtheater would be nice, got lots of different variations in one whole song... can accomodate many styles of players we have. and also the songs are usually long, so more people can participate. Woah!!! i wanna join, if i'm not using guitars, i might add in some synths or samples heheh... |

I've ripped 3 Backing CDs but most of the tracks are around the 4:00 mark.
Though, there're some really good ones that I could share, anybody care for a torrent so that you could practise to the tracks? |

Punk is the total opposite of Prog lol! Prog stands for progressive, and the music's usually complicated with odd time signatures, weird chords, lesser known keys etc... Basically music that's progressinglar.
Alright, gimme a sec, I'ill upload them. Edit : Got them from various magazines. This post has been edited by led_zep_freak: Feb 9 2006, 03:48 PM |

The thing with Azureus is you don't have to go through a tracker. My friend was using Bitcomet and it worked fine... hmm... what's your client?

Pix, yeah, the track's still in the blues rock context even during the bridge, maybe some Robben Ford licks? Bah, easier said than done.
Nah, you can get a good tone and play pretty well. I guess we all have more important things to do in life -than practising 2/3 hours a day-, we're no pros! evo.com, copy and paste seems alright but the solos might not flow with the next. |

1 - XCcude
2 - Blacktrix 3 - z3r0l33t 4 - pix 5 - evo.com 6 - led zep 7 - free evo.com, haha I'm listening to xccude's solo mah lol. I don't think time's a problem lah haha, my strings are rusty and I have to get my pedals back from my friend before recording. If you're doing the wah thing, I might try some octave fuzz instead.
