Note 1 can only support 64GB in FAT32. Note II like S3 will be able to support exFAT out of the box. Sandisk Mobile Ultra 64GB is formatted in exFAT by default.

maybe it is the major feature of Note 10.1, not so much for Note II as i doubt it is very practical in every occasion as the split screen will be too small.

Added on September 30, 2012, 1:50 pmfrom the Android Central video, it seems like the Note II is using microSIM, or did i hear wrongly? If that's the case, might request for microSIM when i MNP back to Maxis before the Note II launches here.

it may not be our call. I prefer the Titanium Grey but dunno whether Samsung will pull the same stunt like S3 - last minute suddenly blue colour S3 not available at launch. Then suddenly few days later blue ones appeared.

from past experience, normally Telcos will launch new phone just before the weekend. So my best guess will be next Friday, Oct 12 and last thru Sunday, Oct 14. If drag for another week will be quite late i think.

just difference by RM100, close both eyes just grab it when it is hot. The feeling of getting of latest gadget on Day 1 on your hand sure beat the feeling of RM100 in your pocket.

i think the RRP will either be RM2,199 or RM2,299 but my bet will be on RM2,199 RRP.

Maybe the shopping centre not yet update their event list or maybe the Telcos haven't get ready the logistics yet. More info should confirm or dismiss this towards the end of this week.

those ppl too excited and happy that they manage to get their new gadget, so dun bother with the charges.

When i got the SIII with Maxis contract from my wife from agent, they cut the normal sim card into microSIM coz they dun have stock for the microSIM and it was a Sunday. They told me to get a new one from Maxis. I went to Maxis few days later and told them about the story and they gladly gave me a new microSIM without charge. It is only fair that a microSIM is give free if it is not our fault that make the original sim card unusable.

i have black-listed and ban HTC from my smartphone list since my HTC Desire HD. They do not care at all for customer services - they advertised heavily the features of HTC Sense online which let you manage your Desire HD online and able to locate your phone, wipe your phone, backup sms etc. BUT the service never been fully deployed in Malaysia (maybe most of other countries too). And eventually they just shut that website off for good.

And adding in some online news that HTC is not so flash-friendly nowadays (correct me if I am wrong, just read it somewhere, not really following HTC news now), I will leave HTC for good. At least Samsung is trying to give the users more features by adding in value-added in-house apps.

for Note last year - DiGi and Celcom launched it on same day. Maxis only launched it few months later - reason unknown. But for S3, all 3 launched it the same day. So i think for Note II, all 3 celcos will launch on the same day too, with different offers to attract customers.

Note was launched at RRP RM2,299. It is a good base for an estimate for Note II.

yes, of course, there are some custom ROMs that is based on stock rom, only added on some speed and battery tweak. Some also remove some unwanted Samsung bloat apps, you can choose to install these back if you want. Customised "stock" ROMs are always much smoother and with better battery life. There are tonnes of ROMs to choose from.

I thought you said RM2,299 is your limit, now looks like RM2,499 (AP set) also cannot resist you from the temptation.

just went to DiGi to cancel my contract expiring on Nov 10. And straight away went across the street to Maxis to do my MNP. Hopefully by tomorrow night can switch over already.

yah...talking of micro SIM - the gold plated area of the new sim card Maxis gave me is really small, can be cut into nano sim i think.
