The marketing team must be very bold or foolish. They really shld launch it before the most anticipated phone ever.
October wld be a good choice.

You sure you insider give a correct figure.? The price is for Note2 or Note 10 1..!?
As far as i know..no countries even have stock yet for Note2. I wonder how your telcom already set the price  shocking.gif
*
actually, not that hard to believe that the stocks are already here... it does require paperwork and sirim approval, etc... i recall last time (note sure if it was s2 or Note1) where news was that Samsung already had stocks in MY and just waiting for the release date before they start selling it...

as for price... i'm 99.999999% sure they will sell at Note's original price which is rm2299. up to telco to do their own bundling...

G Note buyers are in different category . G note does not compete with other smaller phones with size 4 inch n below
Main selling point of note is its bigger display n s pen functions. You don't need either one there are more other choices available - other androids, windows n iPhone
Until HTC releases its upcoming 5 inch model there is no close competitor. The 5 inch dell streak compared with it is not even worth comparing

i think companies with global launch also need to time their releases worldwide and/ or in the region to avoid parallel imports (AP sets). though in the end, they still get the numbers, it will put their local entities in a disadvantaged position...

It's said to have LTE feature but operators in Malaysia is not quite near to implementing it yet. Does it mean the phone will be compatible when Malaysian operators implementing it ?

LTE version won't be coming into our local market. Most likely we will only have the 16GB version

Yeah..release time surely 16GB only though there's still hopes for SME 32GB as we start getting our first 32GB on SGS3 after a few months from the release date.

Oh thanks for the info. Anyone has a side-by-side comparison of this device with Galaxy S 3 ? I only know the screen size is bigger.

Try check at youtube. GNote actually just a bit wider and longer than SGS3.

Physical difference is too apparent. I am talking about if there are other differences, such as software features.

This is what I found on the net :-

The Note 2 is a slightly bigger and faster version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 with the added advantage of an S-Pen. Its only failing (as it were) is its lower pixel density. If you fancy a slightly bigger S3 or are about to update your existing Note then it’s a no-brainer to go for the Note 2.

Does it mean S3 does not have S-pen ?

The main selling point of Note series = big screen and SPen.
You'll get almost all SGS3 features plus bigger screen with addition of SPen features that exclusive for Note series only.

Added on September 5, 2012, 9:57 amNo..S3 don't have SPen features. It have only ordinary CPen (capacitive pen) that can be bought from any phone shop.

One thing I like about the 2 features are
1) If you plug in your ear phone, the home screen will jump into a Media home screen with music widget and video widget
2) If you remove the S Pen from its holder, the home screen will then jump to a Pen centric page with S Pen specific widget / app

Hopefully all the features will be ported into Note 10.1 in its JB update

Haha this is not helping. I am not concerned about the technology, I am concerned about what do they bring to end user feature and experience.
