New to Gran Turismo Sport however I’d really like to experience the full racing cockpit experience, therefore decided to purchase the Playseat Gran Turismo from playseatstore.com. Shipping costs €24, way more affordable than Singapore shops selling after conversion. Can check that out.
Wheel comes from Impluse, the Thrustmaster T300RS GT w/ TH8A shifter comes with full warranty from Sin. AFAIK, no official distri for Thrustmaster in My.

I don’t see it in their list but if they could include the Playseat GearShift Holder then it’d be a good buy though I doubt so. But a fair pricing nonetheless.
For those of you guys with a wheel ... in your opinion what sort of improvement does it give you over controller? For e.g., like if a controller you can do a random lap at XXmin, with wheel it'll be 5%, 10%, 15% faster?

This is my view on this matter -
The equipment that you use only contribute, like, half of the factor that makes you quicker. I personally know people who use controller which is faster than people who use a wheel in games.
For me what matters is your driving technique (braking points, driving line, throttle application, car setups) for making you go faster on the track

I’ve no doubt that’s true, but you also can’t deny that for the same person, wheel will (should?) result in quicker times, but I’m wondering how much quicker?

To quantify how much quicker is a bit difficult, but for me the difference between using a controller and a wheel is like plus minus 2-3 seconds provided that i use the correct driving technique.
The advantage of Using a controller, you can turn the car quickly side to side; meanwhile when you use a wheel you can better control the gas and brakes of the car IMO
