USD 2700 sien edi loh.

D600 + 35mm f2 carl zeiss see how much coz the compact camera comes with that lens

so looking at a street price of about rm7.5k for D600? potong stim only.

wait and see performance heheeee if beat D700 in all aspect maybe worth it leh....

oh wait AF point is lesser than D700 right?

51 vs 39 loo

doesnt matter lesser...39 is plenty.
from the specs already it beats D700 in everything, except most probably AF speed which is abit irrelevant if ppl just shoot portraits.

if RM7k to RM8k for D600, i'll pass

focus speed is very relevant cos thats one of the key selling points of a nikon dslr... speed and accuracy... we all want better faster stronger ba.. fast lens + fast body is a requirement for me... the more the focus points the merrier... id be quite disappointed if less than 51 points cos its priced higher than my d300 which already have 51 af points

And the AF coverage probably not as good as D700 due to lesser points. Imagine 39 points on FF.. hmm...

But then again, most of the time I just shoot with middle AF point , but aiya for sports when I'm doing AF-C then its pretty critical.

if want speed and accuracy then have to look at d3, d4 already...d300, d700 still won't match them.
Plus d600 has expeed3 which is suppose to process 30% faster then expeed2 and just may give it the edge over the d700 which is expeed1...have to wait for actual tests and see.

Anyway what I'm curious to see is if the d600 got af-on button or not.

of course im looking at d3/d4 but I dont have unlimited budget ma(im sure a lot of people would like to own these beasts). If got I wont be interested in d600 or be using my trusty d300 for so many years.


Id expect it to have what ever the d700 had with upgrades and cheaper.. thats a dream.. or maybe a d700 replacement at a more affordable state.



On a side not, damn the 1Dx... ISO8,000 the images still very usable! of course its one of the flagship models la..

eh, any autofocus with large aperture lens is accurate?
as far as i know, only hasseblad's true focus is accurate, the rest, pffttt

1130 announcement. WHat say you ? I'd say a sub USD2k FF

Even D4 ISO 128000 still pretty clean

for the price of these things... it better be xD
