go get the 1Dx it is better than D4 thumbup.gif
*
have not got the chance to try the D4... so cant comment which is better... Have not even seen it or smelled it. Nikon is like no marketing over here. Ive been playing with the 1Dx & 5dmk3 for a few tiems already as the canon marketing teams goes around having hands on at local camera shops. mk3 is very impressive

doesnt matter lesser...39 is plenty.
from the specs already it beats D700 in everything, except most probably AF speed which is abit irrelevant if ppl just shoot portraits.
*
focus speed is very relevant cos thats one of the key selling points of a nikon dslr... speed and accuracy... brows.gif we all want better faster stronger ba.. fast lens + fast body is a requirement for me... the more the focus points the merrier... id be quite disappointed if less than 51 points blush.gif cos its priced higher than my d300 which already have 51 af points

QUOTE(Everdying @ Sep 13 2012, 07:46 AM)
if want speed and accuracy then have to look at d3, d4 already...d300, d700 still won't match them.
Plus d600 has expeed3 which is suppose to process 30% faster then expeed2 and just may give it the edge over the d700 which is expeed1...have to wait for actual tests and see.

Anyway what I'm curious to see is if the d600 got af-on button or not.

Added on September 13, 2012, 8:06 amOk screw it, saw some more images...d600 got no af-on button...tho wonder if it can focus with lenses with f8 or smaller like the d800 / d4.
*
of course im looking at d3/d4 but I dont have unlimited budget ma(im sure a lot of people would like to own these beasts). If got I wont be interested in d600 or be using my trusty d300 for so many years.

Id expect it to have what ever the d700 had with upgrades and cheaper.. thats a dream.. or maybe a d700 replacement at a more affordable state. brows.gif

On a side not, damn the 1Dx... ISO8,000 the images still very usable! rclxub.gif of course its one of the flagship models la..

what will be the gain if upgrade from d7000 to d600 but then most of the lens still in DX?

Those with DX-format lenses will also be happy to know that these lenses can also be used on the camera as well as the ability to set DX crop for stills or video to extend the reach of telephoto or telephoto zoom lenses.

if u had checked the specs, there is no gain since DX mode in D600 is 10.5mp.
*
There is a gain in DX mode... you get 1.5x crop. good for tele shooters as you get more reach. hmm.gif so if i had d600 with 70-200 and i wanted more reach I jst switch to DX mode and i get 300mm at the longest ! laugh.gif

Everyone have to remember 10MP is still a lot of pixels, enuf for a nice A1 prints, which I have hanging on my walls. DX mode is still good. Esp if you have invested in some DX lenses and do no have the budget to go FX immediately. Rather than shelving them you can still use until can change.

I think thats a smart move by Nikon. Even on D700 you can set to DX mode leh.. at least on the D600 you get an effective 10MP ! on D700 @ DX mode is only 6MP if not mistaken

Nikon WiFi add-on cheap cheap only. biggrin.gif D600 is nice but the Nikkor lens not cheap leh, add 16-35 F4 VR also total cost come to RM 10k+ already.
*
cheap is not the issue, its the issue of something sticking out the side. maybe can get better reception... or will 6D get your holding it wrongly drop of signal death hold?

anyways damn sad, only today realize I lost my lens cover due to super heavy rain during an event.. mst be run run and dropped it. haiz. xDe rezeki loe .. its not to monay, just dun like to lose stuff .. that said, i lost my sb800 omni bounce and stand... at least 2 packs of rechargeablez batts and some light modifiers =_=
