my favourite car. It's either I get the 70's Cooper S or I'll get the new JCW Cooper S. but my dad not happy when I mentioned I want to get the classic one.

hehe Id say go for the 70s cooper... i jst dont like the pedals, a bit too close or my taste. cant really drive with crocs shoes.

Thing I like about the new Cooper S is that it has pedal shifting (I prefer Manual cars but have no chance to drive one) and it is bigger (better for future when I'm married and have a kid or two... or I need to *cough* showoff)

but classic 70s are the bomb because I grew up watching Mr Bean that's where I started loving the Minis til now!

Are you metering on the wrong area ?

What's the exposure of this photo...

lol..i dun think u can make the area dark without making the girl look like silhouette..i used spot meterin on the girl's face..

you spot meter on her face but the side of her face still blown out

you should be able to recover the shadow area if you use matrix metering, fill the dark area to half of your frame, shoot -0.3 or -0.7 underexpose in manual mode, check in-camera histogram if no black and white clipping in the histogram then should be fine

and shoot NEF
