QUOTE(iwanodyssey @ Nov 6 2012, 03:36 PM) Here it is called TLGH ..they are doing survey ..Sapurakencana is an EPCIC company..abt the prospect ..they always need geophysicist. TLO is an installation n logistic company so prior to installation TLGH will do survey for them. Project wise no worries ...schedule is already pack for 2013. I see.. Thanks for the explanation. That sure takes a load off my mind. Another thing is... do most geophysicist in TLGH work on a contract basis?

QUOTE(badyuan @ Nov 6 2012, 09:43 AM) Guys, I have a small question here, which kind of engineer will require to go offshore only for a certain period? I mean, they might station in office or other places rather than offshore but will only require to go offshore for some work in a short period? Tq I would answer discipline engineer e.g. CVL engr, electrical engr, telecommunication engr, process engr.

The Petroleum Management Unit of PETRONAS acts as resource owner and manager of Malaysia's domestic oil and gas assets. Its not under Petronas Carigali. PSC Audit? What can I say, their workstation always empty i.e. outstation.

QUOTE(ar_zaem @ Nov 6 2012, 07:54 PM) so, most of the time my work will be at outstation la? cool... For an intern, maybe not. You'd be shown what PsC audit does and maybe do a lot of paperwork. As I mentioned in the PM, PSC audits are the cops and they go around every quarter to all the operators offices (Shell in Miri, Exxon, Talisman etc etc) and these operators will have to open their books for the PSC audit team to review. If the team decides that some of the line items are not cost recoverable, then it's not cost recoverable. They have the big stick.
