since u hav 14mil which is enough for a stormcrow
stormcrow can do well in all range with appropriate weapon set
it has omnipod so u change change its arms and side torso
stormcrow

for wolverine-6k,the slot is fix and normally ppl play with 3 large laser + 1 medium laser
wolverine

Nice. Single use for the skins or you bought for chassis? What about colors?

Hey dude, you seem to be very pro with the game. I have been trying it over the last two weeks but somehow I cannot get over the connection issues. I keep getting major lags and even disconnects. Any recommendation on how to overcome this?

Currently using Unifi 30Mbps and usually on Oceanic server.

Don't have lar. Your connection is all down to your ISP. Its down to what route your ISP take to get to whatever site you are connecting to.

The Oceanic server is actually in SG, which is why most Singaporeans have LAN quality ping while we can get somewhere between 30-100 depending on our ISP and which hour we are connecting at.

If you read the forum, you'll note that some Aussies complain that their connection to Oceanic is laggy and worse than the NA server. However, other Aussies generally find it better and get 100+ latency. Those who face issues are all using either IINet or some other ISP. Those ISPs route through somewhere like HK to get to SG which is a roundabout route. That's why their latency is shot all to hell.

But in the first place, we also need to be certain that its your connection and not your network. You certain your router has no problems, etc etc. You know the drill. How is it with other games?

Read this thread:
http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/205512-oc...ion-discussion/

Run the test. See what path your ISP takes to get to the Oceanic Server. Does it take a detour like go to HK or Japan or something? What is your latency to each node?

Oh, don't bother pasting here. Like I can help you with it. Once you have this info, you need to complain to your ISP. Whether or not they will listen... sweat.gif

Thanks man. I tried and followed the link that you sent. I couldnt really figure out what the output of the program was but anyway decided to change the stock router Unifi gave with my internet provider gave to my own router and man it was night and day difference. I now have a consistent 50ms ping and have not once disconnected from my last 10-ish games since. Hoping to be able to exchange for an Ebon Jaguar tonight.

Depends on your budget, and your technical know-how.

Frankly, I've had good results using those cheapo TPLink routers flashed with OpenWRT. Just make sure you get the ones with compatible chipsets. When in doubt, ask. Those folks at Digital Mall or Lowyat should know. Or you can always Google.

If you're not too confident about flashing a router, you might want to get one with better stock firmware than. Asus makes decent routers but they can be kinda pricey. TPLink's stock isn't actually that bad though. Better than Unifi's default router anyway.

Note that HyppTV will no longer work on custom routers, but how many of you actually use that anyway?

Halloween event started.

250 points only, easy lar. If 400 points like last time, stress liao.

Still, must play properly to ensure points even in a loss. No messing around in a Nova. laugh.gif

Althought a well-piloted Nova will still melt robot faces. icon_idea.gif

Currently I am using an existing TP-Link Archer C7 router which is OpenWRT and Unifi compatible although I am using the stock firmware only - too lazy to flash OpenWRT. Anyway for the price I paid for it (I think about RM420 1+ yr ago) you need to pay twice more for an Asus equal in terms of specs. Functionally it works and I have not had any problems with the C7 at all for the past week since I configured it. I dont have a high end Asus router to compare to... only had a low end Asus ADSL modem/wifi to compare to - and it works. I mean I find it hard to justify spending RM900 for a Asus router. Its not like they are giving a unicorn with it.

I am usually getting 50ms ping on Oceanic server with the occasional 150ms ping game for MWO. DOTA2 I get about 100ms-175ms ping and maybe 0.001% packet loss for the entire 1 hr game. But at this point I dont think i can identify if it is the router or connection issue anymore.
