How many of you guys are still playing this regularly? You group up by lances or you have enough for a full 12-person group?

Lol most of my friends also seem to have semi-abandoned the game. Some might return on official launch though.

QUOTE(ongweiping @ Sep 6 2013, 01:48 PM) What troubles me is that I've heard that in WT, its possible you can go up against ME-262s although you are still a noob in a prop plane.Admittedly, in MWO you can also be a noob in a standard load out mech going up against a some tweaked out mech with DHS and Endo-Steel... I got no kaki playing WT though...but I'll probably give it a shot since I'm a WW2 buff with some interest and knowledge in the hardware used during the war. |

QUOTE(ongweiping @ Sep 8 2013, 08:36 AM) I'm sure you will in love with War Thunder (Oh my, this is MWO thread! I gave it a try. I find it weird. On one hand, it seems natural to fly using a joystick/gamepad but very hard to aim. On the other hand, much easier to aim with mouse but damn hard to fly (or at least it doesn't feel natural)...especially outside of arcade mode.Yesterday MWO server down/intermittent connection issue. Not sure how is it now, should be ok, i missed my Yen-Lo-Wang... |

Wow...there are still Malaysians who are active?
I'm kinda taking a hiatus from this game until the TimberWolf is available for c-bill purchase. Bought the Nova...ugh... |

I got my Victor.
Need to bring it back out for a spin again since they removed its negative quirks. Community Warfare starting soon. Unfortunately, my friends favour the Clans so I now have to figure out how to load my dropship. |

Reviving old thread.
Who's still playing? Which side are you on in CW? Clans or IS? Which faction? I'm in Clan Wolf. |

Ayam gonna bump this thread because Oceanic servers are up for MWO since the last patch, and Malaysians get a ping < 100 depending on ISP.

Hey paladinowp. So sorry I killed you that quickly in your Mauler, but well...I really needed Canyon Network.
And it still isn't bloody enough. Why couldn't you have mounted a standard engine so I could strip your other torso too for more points? ![]() |

QUOTE(ongweiping @ Sep 21 2015, 12:25 PM) Hardwork indeed! Struggling to get more than 300 in my mauler. Time to change weaponry i think. sweat. Use LRMs. I hate them, I think it's a cheap way to play, but they do a lot of pointless spread dmg which is what you need. I used a lrm boat Jag to get Canyon Network. Everything else was done with UACs. Mauler can do the dmg with a ballistic build but it does not have the mobility to get in on the fights. So it's either LRMs or you bring a faster mech. Timber wolf is the most commonly used and abused for this event but I managed with my Ebon Jags. |

Well, they just lowered the requirements to make this easier.
CW still remains tricky. Good thing I didn't bother with it. BTW, I might want to join the 5SSP. Would prefer to roll with fellow Malaysian and Singaporean giant robot pilots. Just let me finish my ronin phase of drifting between factions to get free mech bays first. |

QUOTE(atrass @ Sep 28 2015, 04:35 PM) Time to show off my stable. This game is stupidly grindy though. I took 2+ years to get up to this point. Not non-stop playing off course. On and off. I tend to come back to the game when it has a worthwhile event, like MC up for grabs. I spent actual money on MC on buy some mech bays and Wave III. The Sparky was obtained via MC gained from events. I have also mastered Jenners and Trebuchets but sold them all off as they were obsolete and I needed free bays at that time. My naming convention is not very original. Its just a simple way to remind me of each mech's loadout. paladinowp likely has far more mechs than me though. Light » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Medium » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Heavy » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Assault. My least favorite class. Too slow for my taste. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(atrass @ Sep 28 2015, 05:19 PM) wow...54 mech thats a lot That's why I said this game is grindy.i juz start the game about 2 to 3 weeks my 1st mech is hunchback 4j a hybrid lrm last nite juz earn enough money from CW and the new academy to buy a timber wolf s but no money left to customize it It does get easier though. Once you hit our level, you make a whole lot more money per game with optimised builds. Plus some of our mechs give us a 30% bonus to c-bill earnings. But the early grind...painful... Edit: Incidentally, you should have bought a Stormcrow. Its a great mech, and cheaper to boot plus the Medium queue is less saturated. I like playing Heavy mechs too but the queue times... QUOTE(atrass @ Sep 28 2015, 05:41 PM) Mad Cat MKII is my favorite mech in mechwarrior 4 and i get destroy by timber wolf countless time in CW Only after you mastered it and have the 2x bonuses, else your mech is hot as hell.so if you cannot beat them, join them is a laser sniper build good for grinding? Until your mechs are mastered, ballistic is the way to go. Or SRMs if you are good at brawling. And I hate to say this, but LRMs. LRMs make it very easy to grind up a mech. Of course, its team dependent and you have to hope the other side doesn't have ECM or you'll just have a very bad day but you would already know this since you have a HBK-J. You heard of metamechs? http://metamechs.com/ |

QUOTE(ongweiping @ Sep 29 2015, 06:25 PM) I have some mechs, most of them bought with cash, spent quite a lot dy... haha I already added you. I'm Charlie Pohr. As in grab your boobs in Cantonese. grind your way to have 50+ mechs is really some hardwork, Guys, share out your ign so we can add as friends, or play together. Mine is paladinowp btw. I plan to request a name change though if only because having the name of Charlie is confusing in a game where it is a term. |
