I retired from this game for a while already due to the lag until Oceania server arrived

Had 10 games or so with my new Timber Wolf....Feeling awesome!

did have some disconnect from game server problem, a bit frus... but its good overall, hope they fix it soon.

why we cant have good things?

How are the latency of you guys using unifi?
my time fibre is being shitty as it passing ovh node. like super shitty being shitty..

Problem is the game is way easier with a keyboard and mouse, but that oculus do looks possible for the future.

I am on Unifi 10MB;
Connection to Oceanic server is under 20 Ping.
Connecting to North America server is around 250 to 300 Ping, still good with the hit detection system.
Connecting to Euro server is the worst, anywhere from 400 to 600 Ping, many hit are not registered by the game.

My unifi also 10mbps, ping aroung 30 - 40 ish in normal days. VR is good, not sure we can view behind us, haha. Nothing to see. But yeah, it will be cool, but im ok with mouse+kb.

Use LRMs. I hate them, I think it's a cheap way to play, but they do a lot of pointless spread dmg which is what you need.

I used a lrm boat Jag to get Canyon Network. Everything else was done with UACs.

Mauler can do the dmg with a ballistic build but it does not have the mobility to get in on the fights. So it's either LRMs or you bring a faster mech.

Timber wolf is the most commonly used and abused for this event but I managed with my Ebon Jags.

happened quite frequently to me too. just keep on retry, no need reboot modem, no use. managed to login in less than 10 times. sweat.

Well, they just lowered the requirements to make this easier.

CW still remains tricky. Good thing I didn't bother with it.

BTW, I might want to join the 5SSP. Would prefer to roll with fellow Malaysian and Singaporean giant robot pilots. Just let me finish my ronin phase of drifting between factions to get free mech bays first.
