Nah thats screenshots not mine but back to the point
this economic update gimps alot of non-premium players. Every match is either little profit of 1k-10k cbills or negative profit.
Its like this patch is saying "yeah buy premium every month so you can maintain better mechs, weapons, engines and upgrades"
Its closed to borderline pay2win.
So currently the founders have the advantage of maintaining high end mechs, lrm boats while the free2play have to resort to subpar trial mechs tthat can't be customized to your liking to earn profit.
I hope they rebalanced the economy
No, what this means is that people need to learn how to play better. Be it individual skill or forming up their own lance, or joining up with the numerous established Merc Corps to keep their cost down.
The eventual meat and potatoes of the "Online" bit of MWO would be community warfare, where by individual mechwarriors would eventually be shoehorned, if a player chooses to, into either a Merc Corps or House Allegiance.
Right now, in the closed beta, it is pretty much only mech warfare. Drop in, hammer the 8 other mechs and hopefully you dont die too much. And it will be like that for sometime more till they fix the other bugs.
It is not pay to win. A premium account or a founders' mech is pay for convenience. The convenience is the ability to earn C-bills faster.
Dont want to grind as much ? Pay for premium or buy a mech outright.
