Anyone can suggest a good travel accessories store in KL? I want to buy a good quality U-shaped pillow, not the inflatable kind. Went around Sunway and 1U earlier today but most places just sell inflatable style pillows.

normally all those travel acc shops only sell inflatable pillow. I dun like it bcos of the heat.

To get those polyster or even beans filing, sometime can find in those Pasar pagi, or even buy the bean/polyster and make our own U-shape pillow

Thanks stimix, I have the same problem as you too, heat plus the inflatable pillows are almost never comfortable.

Trying my luck at KLCC later today

Air Asia implement new measure to curb passenger carrying hand carry more than 7kg.

When you check in or verify your web checking boarding pass at the check in counter, you will be asked to weight your hand carry bag. A tag labeled as Approved Cabin Luggage will be issued and stick to the bag if the weight is below 7kg.

A passenger in front of me at the check in counter had no other choice but to pay RM30 to check in his unlocked backpack.

Hello all, I am going to further my studies in Taiwan in coming June . I will be taking economy class.

1)Which one is cheaper and better ? MAS , Airasia or you have alternative flight ? Please give me some opinions and I will check through them.

2) I've read some old posts that airline provide additional weight limit for student first time flight ? it is true ? apply for which airlines? I have a lot of thing to bring over for first time flight , might be like around 24~28KG.

I am migrating next month, and i've always travel light with a backpack and never bring huge baggage with me, only hand carry. I am wondering, for checked in baggage, what are the rules for liquid products? Are there any maximum ml i could check in? I know hand carry has a limit of 100ml per bottle/can.

Thanks.

I used to flight SIA and my luggage always at 23-25kg. I think they still allow you if less then 25kg without any charges. The last trip my luggage was 30kg cry.gif and ask me to reduce. After reduce some of my extra thing, it at 27kg. I tried to please the counter and they let me go drool.gif drool.gif rclxm9.gif

I have 1 experienced with MAS was it delay the flight for 5 hrs and this flight was going to Taipei. So now no more MAS. Just SIA.
