Thanks for the info gladfly and shin6619. I'll be looking into upgrading my equipment with AR. Was wondering if dual wield xbow will be enuff to survive RD elites coz i saw a few forumers here using danetta's set. how effective it is?

I am using it, no bad coz high dex, loh and critical damage... Just use kiting to keep urseft won't die when face elites..

change multishot to rune that give displine on hit.. and get gloom to replace your current preparation skill. these 2 will give you better survivability.

and also vault with toc rune is now too.good to ignore

The easiest way to deal with reflect dmg is to replace one of your skills with Shadow Power - Gloom. It scales with your dps, so the more damage you deal, the more hp you leech back.

Another way is to get a 1h xbow which has LOH. Swap to it when you encounter rd elites. You can find a rare one on AH for a few hundred K that gives you 900+ dps and 800+ LOH. Your character sheet dps should remain roughly the same with this setup.

Ah..I use Danneta's as well. Very good value for the 1hand. Got everything..LoH, CD, extra dex and so on. RD not a problem as LoH mitigates it a bit and the fast attack helps. Also, base damage is pretty poor for 1h so..you actually not dishing out insane damage, hence its manageable. Like WKkay said..use SP gloom if you find it hard.

Just for fun..with 500 AR, I face tanked Belial yesterday. Gloom, Prep..gloom and win..... So gloom is a must for any DH.

DH is short cut class- Sharpshooter for additional DPS / gloom for extra protection. To build a godlike DH without 2----> $$$

He was using Legacy Nat suit(awesome 2 discipline per sec regen), 1 of his ring is Stone of Jordan or something. IAS 9%, 22% more daamge to elite and reduce 5 hatred from Cluster Bombs


He was surviving like a boss! he doesn't just spam Gloom, Smokescreen or TOC. His timing and play style was superb.

If reflect dmg is his main problem, he shouldn't increase dps. An increase in mitigation (through gloom/smokescreen/armor/resists) or healing (shadow power/life on hit/life steal/life regen) should come first.
