fyi toc also add life I tried ram some reflect damage mob, my health does not drop.

btw using 800+ dps bow with 3% ls and 900+ loh

provided you have ls / loh weapon then arcane/ reflect damage mob is nothing much
with prep, I could spam at least 8 vault.

5 vault for damage, 3 for escape. Been doing this in act 3. In fact many DH were doing this ... Barb & monk thought we were crazy lol.

just curious, how did you guys getting dps over 100k without sharp shooter ?

currently I'm using a 980dps bow my dps were around 40-47k without SS, with ss it scale up to 136k dps... hmm does a higher dps bow helps ?

finally reach over 150k dps with SS.
66k without SS.

150k with windforce
180k with manticore single socket.

Don't waste time with 2hd xbow. u need too stack load of increase attack speed to make it usable. get a highdps bow with life steal and pop in a 100% crit emerald. 2 hd xbow with default attack sped of 1.1 its a no go in act 3. i saw tons of dh on public server die like a whore with high dps weapon. meh when asking what their attack speed its 1.5 range. Old nata set somemore.

I tested manticore wit 1.87 attack spped. seriously it sucks and i die like nobody business. So slow making life steal n loh inefficient. that extra 50%crit damage from passive not gonna make things godly for u. high attack speed with sharp shooter should works better.because u'll crit 2 time before it reset if ur attack speed is over 2.

my noob logic.

edit. manticore i tested with 2 90% gem. crit damage scale up to 450k. 210k dps with ss.

I fell on love with windforce now. lol. Bloody fast! no more problem with phase hulking thingy.

yeah depends on personal liking. For me I prefer bow because of the extra 15% damage bonus and speed. It seems balance or perhaps jack of all trade.


my logic, kill elite fast before rage mode is triggered. high attack speed fill up the hatred pool fast. So constant spike trap and multishot spamming helps alot in recovering the health pool.

Well its true that every type of bow had it's own advantages.

different style of play, I cant survive with that attack speed. My playing style... I don't really into kite/ run away from elite.
my play strategies... cast mark of death, spike trap,multishot spamming followed by vault (toc). then prep, vault out, hungering arrow + random spike trap and multishot spamming.

New patch looks good for me since I'm not using gloom / Smokescreen at all since day one.

10% ar/life/armor from passive +1
15% ar from pig + 1
vault now can break free from jailer another +1

with these, I think most people can ditch those expensive discipline suckers such as smoke screen and sp gloom.

same here,
many ppl making gloom necessary, until all the skillz they use were meant for survival.

using acid strike previously, but this volatile explosive works even better with night stalker passive !

For my case HA is not working well with my puny 3% LS. I'm on 2.2AS and I find bola shot works better. With acid strike rune.. .basically I'm doing 6 x 160% damage within a sec. Now bola with VE rune works even better
