Patch 1.0.7 DH
I think this is what we need
1. Massive boost to the proc rate of NS. I'm pretty sure none of us are happy with the current proc rate. Too low IMO.
2. Hatred on CRIT. NS should be giving hatred on CRIT as well to make us a truly DPS class. I am currently a 300k DPS DH but when i party in a team, i don't feel like i'm making a big difference or contributing a lot to the team. I think at the moment, we are awesome for facerolling low MP only.
3. Shadow Power has to be reworked to be a DPS skill and not just life steal. Something like berserker of the barb?
4. Smoke Screen HAS GOT TO BE BUFF. I think the 3s smoke screen should make a come back. A guy on EU suggested that you get 3s but loses it when u start attacking. I think that's fair.
5. Skill synergies? Currently i can only think of caltrops + cluster bombs. Caltrops maybe should immobilize the foe long enough for echo blast to work.
6. Sentry. Guardian Turret is nice but i don't want to be a field medic man. Give us a crit or AS boost when we pop sentry. I don't want heal or damage reduction. I want DPS.
I think we all know is not cheap to upgrade a DH. So i think when we get to a certain DPS level, we wanna feel that those numbers actually matter. To be honest, whenever i play with a barb, i feel sad. A 150k DPS barb spamming HOTA is doing 3x my damage even though i have double his paper DPS. I don't think it should be that way.
No doubt i think we are a pretty balanced class atm but i think our DPS should matter when in a team.
What's wrong with DH? Great for facerolling low mp but no viable mechanics to make it a strong class on high MP.
