Can any sifu give advice wat to upgrade to farm in A3?

resist ok , HP ok , dps not ok . get a Xbow . with soket . can boot up huge dps .

with this dps hard to farm act 3

Dps too low with ss...
Atleast 40k w/o ss, vit and ar ok..
Try find high dps bow in ah with cheap price..

Don't waste time with 2hd xbow. u need too stack load of increase attack speed to make it usable. get a highdps bow with life steal and pop in a 100% crit emerald. 2 hd xbow with default attack sped of 1.1 its a no go in act 3. i saw tons of dh on public server die like a whore with high dps weapon. meh when asking what their attack speed its 1.5 range. Old nata set somemore.

I tested manticore wit 1.87 attack spped. seriously it sucks and i die like nobody business. So slow making life steal n loh inefficient. that extra 50%crit damage from passive not gonna make things godly for u. high attack speed with sharp shooter should works better.because u'll crit 2 time before it reset if ur attack speed is over 2.

my noob logic.

edit. manticore i tested with 2 90% gem. crit damage scale up to 450k. 210k dps with ss.

so basicly get 1hxbow with high dps n socket... hmmm i think i go for dat coz when i use 2hxbow, i fall asleep
got a budjet of usd17... cannot cash out coz its in battlenet acc dy
hopefully can get 1hxbow and vile ward

I fell on love with windforce now. lol. Bloody fast! no more problem with phase hulking thingy.

i juz wan to ask u about windforce hehe

for me is personal favour only . i have no problem farming act 3 . with 2h Xbow only 80k+ dps without ss and only 300+ resist .

2h Xbow . highest critical damage , slowest speed

BOW low critical damage . faster speed .

1H Xbow . fastest speed, lower critical damage .



for critical damage

2h Xbow > Bow > 1h Xbow

for speed

1h Xbow > bow > 2h Xbow

Agree, I farm act 3 with 985dps manticore with no problem. Basically had been using calamity with 1150dps and windforce with 1251dps. Each bow have it's own adv.

I'm pretty sure those dhs you see in public games will die even if they were using a bow you recommend. Healing is not a viable option if you can't take hits, and that's how many dhs are built

A 2h xbow requires a different play style from a 2h bow. Skills based on weapon dmg become more viable, while skills based on high proc rate become less viable. Damage per hit/hatred is higher. Keep an open mind and play it in the right style and you won't find 1.5 attack speed a problem I'm at around 1.3.

ur build like my previous build.
dont have AR, life steal or life on hit and life regen...

high hp but kenal hit reduce hp. need a lot time to recover.
easy kill by fire .....

go AR to 300 and life regen to 1k...

for me after life regen 2k, not need consider life steal or LOH...
after AR >600, u can consider armor...

yeah depends on personal liking. For me I prefer bow because of the extra 15% damage bonus and speed. It seems balance or perhaps jack of all trade.


my logic, kill elite fast before rage mode is triggered. high attack speed fill up the hatred pool fast. So constant spike trap and multishot spamming helps alot in recovering the health pool.

Well its true that every type of bow had it's own advantages.

different style of play, I cant survive with that attack speed. My playing style... I don't really into kite/ run away from elite.
my play strategies... cast mark of death, spike trap,multishot spamming followed by vault (toc). then prep, vault out, hungering arrow + random spike trap and multishot spamming.

Loh really super powerful I try justnow.. This is the 1st time I use gas to kill ghom and azmodan without running and just stand in front it and kill..No problem stand in the poison by ghom or poison on floor by azmodan..
