I have had no issues with it. Some websites still recognise IE10 as some sort of mobile or feature phone browser and will redirect to their mobile optimize sites (nbcnews is an example).

I had no issues with the Maybank2U app when it is working but there have been a couple of times when I can't even log in. I have not tried any other banks like HSBC or Citibank or CIMB.

The Lumia 920 doesn't even tell you if you are dialling the correct person or not even after you type the full phone number like the iPhone. In the iphone if you dial the full phone number, if the number is in your contact, it will tell you the contact name. I have 2 phone (1 with the Malaysian Simcard) and I don't have the full contact in the 2nd phone and sometimes I received a call on it, so I usually will dial the full phone no in the iPhone and if a contact name comes up, then I'll continue with the call.

Can't do that in WP8. Wish they have this feature.

Yes, this is also the case with WP8 where you have to dial first before the phone shows if the person is on your contact list. A bit annoying though because in the iOS, it will automatically display the person's name (if they are in your contact list) before you dial .... ohh well. I'm sure MS will do something about it. Now waiting for Whatsapp and Portico for the Lumia 920. HTC 8x already has Portico OTA, I wonder why it is taking Nokia so long though (well it''s only been 4 days but gawddemmit!!!)

It's version 2.8.10 and not the rebuild for Metro UI as some people expected. Still, it seems to be faster and I hope the fixed some of the bugs it had before.

My motto is, don't put your hopes up and you won't be dissappointed.

I have 3 GMail account but I only use it for email. None of those Calendar/Contacts etc. I've never used all the Google Docs either so I'm good there. I hope they don't screw around with Youtube because that's the only thing I think Google has the upperhand of.

I have not had to back-out from whatsapp once I click on the notification banner. The message does not appear instantaneously (probably a half second delay) but at least it is showing. Previously, I will have to back out and sometimes quit whatsapp before the message that was shown in the notification banner appears.

The app is a bit faster than before and as I mentioned, at the moment (touch wood), the notification seems to be working fine (though still a bit delayed by a half second). I also hope this is a stop gap measure to make it WP* compatible and hope that the update the UI. The huge rectangle box needs to go ....

Added on December 18, 2012, 2:33 pmI have an iPhone 4s and I will do a test (chat between myself heh heh) to see the notification delay. I usually switch off my 3G and when I switch it on, then I will get the notification so let me try and do the chat between 2 pohones and see about the delay.

I doubt they have the resources to develop 2 different App for one ecosystem.

string, I thought you're with Jellybean? Or was it ICS? All I would say is to wait while until Nokia solves it's distribution issues. I suspect there's not much stock in the first place. I pre-ordered from Nokia Saudi and until today never received it, ended up buying it from the exclusive mobile provider here (luckily they have the sell it outright option and luckily Yellow is not a very popular color in Saudi). January is the date Nokia says that they should be able to solve the supply side problem and by then PR1.1 should be pre-installed which should fix the daylight camera issue as well and some of the Portico features.

Added on December 19, 2012, 12:27 pmCorrect. It says that Location must be enabled for it to work and in the terms & conditions, it will detect the simcard origin and will enable/disable Mix Radio based on the Simcard.

Sweet, then you can be the point me for the 3 devices and ecosystem comparison. Did you get the iPhone 5 as well? Launch day is supposed to be day after tomorrow (the 21st).

I don't know what the heck happened but after I updated Nokia Music, I have Mix radio .... wohooooooo!!!!! Not compalining. There is still an issue when my 920 gets really hot and the battery drains like 15% in 20 minutes while using the 3G to browse etc .... one thread in Microsoft answers says that you should open ALL apps one at a time and say yes to the Terms & Conditions yada yada and supposedly this will solve the battery drain and heating up issue. I don't see the logic in that but at this point, I'm willing to try anything. If it still fails, I'm sending this to the Care Centre and have Nokia take a look on why the device is heating up so fast and drains the battery in the process.

Congrats string. Been quiet these past 2 days because need to calm down after venting in WPCentral due to the fark-up by MS & Nokia about Portico & PR1.1. MS & Nokia needs a lot of work with regards to the roll out of Updates. I have a suspicion this is a Nokia issue and not an MS issue. Gimme my Wifi always On!!!

As for Mix radio, Nokia music just got updated and I dunno what happened but I have Mix Radio now. Didn't have it before because my Sim was a Saudi sim, so I am not complaining. The Store updates doesn't seem to work for me so you may need to go into the store and select Nokia Music (or any other app) and if there is an update, it should tell you and you can install the update.

I'm still contemplating of hard-resetting my Lumia 920 to see if my battery will be better calibrated. There will be times when the unit will heat up and the battery will drain super fast. Someone in WPCentral mentioned that a hard reset should fix it but I don't know if the backup/restore is similar to the iOS where everything (except the apps) is restored. My main concern is my whatsapp chat history.

Has anyone tried a hard reset and restore? Does your whatsapp history comes back after the restore?

Mix Radio gives you the option to stream the music (like Pandora I guess) and allows you download the mix for offline listening. Yes string, the sound quality is so-so and if you're an audiophile, you won't lose any sleep losing Mix Radio. I like to listen to it while doing my job heh heh heh so no need for high quality audio.

I'm using Bank Account Manager

I use Windows Phone Connector or whatever it's called now and I am able to sync the iTunes Playlist which transfers all my music and the album covers. If you have iTunes before maybe you can do that. Not sure if you're using the drag & drop if you can automaticaly set the album covers.

Some people say can, some people say cannot. You can always try and report back to us. Use your MY CC and use an address in UK and see if that will work.
