After 2+ years i find that my Dell U2311H backlight bleeding is getting worse..
I dont have a proper camera to take a pic but i found this picture from the internet. I have the exact same problem
as the person who posted it here:
[attachmentid=3336350]

The bottom left corner is really bad , i dont mind the other corners. Is there a way to fix backlight bleeding??

3 years is standard warranty for monitors.

5 years if you opt for extended warranty and buy direct from dell

3 years if buy from retailer

How do you confirm that the monitor warranty is 5 years?

seller mentioned its 5yrs. so basically its just "hear say". but idealtech is trusted n reputable seller in gs so safe to say its 5yrs.

Get the U2312HM if you have the space for it on your desk. The S2340L has no anti glare coating so it is very reflective. If your room is bright it'll be a massive pain.

The U2312HM has a bigger and deeper stand compared to the S2340L. In terms of colours,from my experience the U2312HM has better out of the box calibration. I recommend getting the monitor from the garage sales section instead from dell direct as they are usually calibrated first and cost less.

i am still using the old fat 15" monitor. so i think no matter how big or deep the stand, should be smaller than the body of the crt tongue.gif ... i also notice garage sales section sell cheaper.. but i am from sarawak sad.gif ..after they incl the postage fee, i might better get from dell directly... sweat.gif do you know what is the premium panel mean?
