i wouldnt say quality lower, samsung price higher cos i heard they say they use diff panel than the usual TN panels. (sorry no SOS for this cos cant rmb where i read it from)

but in terms of vs against IPS, i'd say IPS is still winner. add in with Dell's after sales support, lagi worth the money to buy Dell's monitors

Hi Shifus,

Im in a dilemma of choosing led monitor.
1. My main usage is playing games (HoN) and watching HD movies (BRrip, 720p)
2. Current monitor is Samsung S22A100N
3. Im looking for an IPS based panel bcoz i wanted to feel the diff
4. Options to buy: LG IPS234V, Dell S2240, Dell U2312
5. Main connectors desired: DVI and HDMI
6. Budget: RM 500 - 600

So based on above conditions, what would be the best for me?

Any reply or feedback are much appreciated..

Thanks

What is your budget? Dell U2312HM is the best choice from your list.

Does the U2312HM ordered from Dell website include the HDMI > DVI converter?

And does this link still alive? http://www.dell.com/my/p/d/campaigns/epp-a...hs&preview=true

Lastly, will the Dell sound-bar compatible with it? http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/product...&~ck=dellSearch

Thanks.

I will choose Dell because it has 5 years warranty and Dell is known for their excellent after sales services. Any problem just give Dell a call and they will send a certified technician next day to your requested location to give you a replacement unit right away if it cannot be fixed on the spot. If buy from CyntrixTech in the garage sales can get free professional colour calibration too tongue.gif
