Hmm... for HDMI wise, S2340L is a better choice?

Kind of short of budget so around 5xx~6xx monitor for me.

I highly recommend the Dell U2312HM. Just bought it yesterday from CyntrixTech. Cyntrix include a HDMI to DVI adapter with the monitor too. Its awesome  biggrin.gif

Hmm ... i also got one HDMI to DVI converter.

But will the quality drop if convert ?

Gonna play BD and play PS3 on it mainly.

Zero change in quality. It's digital signal. Makes no difference whether you use HDMI, display port, or dvi, or whatever adapter

Woo .. now i got a bit interested, lol ..

Both using IPS but S2340L only win in HDMI port and glossy surface.

Does the U2312HM ordered from Dell website include the HDMI > DVI converter?

And does this link still alive? http://www.dell.com/my/p/d/campaigns/epp-a...hs&preview=true

Lastly, will the Dell sound-bar compatible with it? http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/product...&~ck=dellSearch

Thanks.

Just so that you know... there already a 4x (1920x1200) monitor released using very old LCD tech in late 1990s early 2000s... at 22.2inches (4x the pixel density of most current monitors)....

IBM T221...

and of course AMD eyefinity.. just needs bezel-less monitors.... or projectors...

Guys, recently just got a mini DP > DP port from ebay.

Last night tried it between my M14X and U2312HM.
At first it was ok. After that, the screen will start flickering then in the end, non-stop.

Then I googled and found quite a number of this case happened to Dell's ultra sharp monitor.

Now not sure whether is the cable prob or monitor >.<
