Friend,
But XEON e3-1230 slower than i7-3770 sad.gif
*
Nope..it's E3-1230 V2(ivy bridge)

The performance were similiar to i7 3770 but lack of OCability n IGP..still got the boost option,tho..priced lower than i7 summore.. wink.gif

Or if u can afford better,can consider E3-1240 V2 smile.gif

if u worry the 100mhz slower has a huge difference, u can opt for e3 1240 v2 another rm150, rm849 smile.gif
*
I think most people wouldn't mind on that..it's only RM700,tho..and u can catch up the i7 performance tongue.gif

QUOTE(99problems @ Sep 20 2012, 08:45 PM)
someone reply me please?? Post before no one replied lol.. with this
Core i3 3220 RM389
MSI H61M-P31-RM149
Kingston 1333 ram 4GB RM64
Sapphire HD7750-RM329
FSP Hexa 500W PSU RM149
WD Caviar Blue 500GB HDD RM140
Lite-On 22x DVDRW RM59
Gigabyte GZ-X Casing-RM59
Acer V193H monitor-RM239

questions:
1) this rig can support gaming graphics at what level?? Especially games like sims 3 and civilization, will it achieve high level graphics or just medium??since you're using 19" monitor,u should be able to play most of the game at ease in high details(not max)

2) the guy who suggested to me.. he gave the processor and graphics card.. but what gb/ghz is that?? i mean the intel i3, how many ghz, and the graphic card how many ghz is that?? lol sorry still newit is 3.3GHz for the CPU..you can easily google on that

3) and seeing i have tight budget of 1.5k-1.6k, can i swap the i3 with something cheaper like amd PHENOM II X2 555 AM3 3.20ghz L2 7MB(whats L2?) RM299.. or A4 3400 dual cores FM1 2.70ghz L2 1MB RM209/A6 3500 triple cores FM1 2.10 L2 3MB RM249 ?? Can someone also explain whats better for gaming the i3 the guy suggested or what i see which is cheaper.. because i also want to buy good speakers and keyboard and mouse..
you can opt to AMD but you can't get better with AMD..even a cheap RM170 Pentium G630 can easily beat phenom II x2
Thanks !! biggrin.gif

EDIT: Also I have 1 TB external hard drive. Can external hard drive used as internal?? Like putting it into the motherboard all, as I said I want extra cash to buy other stuff lol tongue.gif

IVY BRIDGE MOTHERBOARDS

- H71,B75,H77,Z77

It's simple..and for sandy bridge motherboards,u just have to make sure/ask the seller whether it has the latest revision.. wink.gif

You can't simply compared them because they have completely different architectures.
Read more about AMD Bulldozer here:-
http://www.anandtech.com/show/5057/the-bul...g-even-deeper/9
http://www.extremetech.com/computing/10058...ead-performance
*
+1 on this. It's all about architecture..u shouldn't judge something with their rough spec IMO..i7 has a faster clock cycle that instantly could pawn FX-8150 easily..

QUOTE
The key difference here is how much work each CPU can get done per clock cycle. Intel's Sandy Bridge CPUs are much more efficient at that than any of AMD's processors, which are more competitive with the old Core 2 series as far as instructions completed per clock cycle goes. The result is when running at the same clockspeed, the Intel CPU will be about 20% faster than its AMD counterpart.
