If this is for ur first build,i suggest better go for ATX..more future expansion proof..n it is sure cheaper than ITX setup.. wink.gif

Google 'em,mate..2500K is on sandy bridge while 3570k were the Ivy's..even 3570K produced more heat,but it can perfom high enuf with less power usage.. wink.gif

E3-1230V2 already enuf IMO..it has 3770's kinda performance but only in i5's price range.

Regarding the GPU,it is recommended to have a good GPU.the pricier,the better..why?because pricey GPU has better features which could support MATLAB apps in handy rather than the cheaper ones.. smile.gif
