Hey guys looking to build a mid-end gaming rig (rm1.5k-rm1.6k) for myself, here are the specs I have shortlisted:

1. Amd FX 8120
2. Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 1600MHz 8GB
3. 2TB WD 7200RPM (Does Green, Blue or Caviar make a diff?)
4. Cooler Master 475W Extreme 2 PSU
5. Gigabyte AM3 Socket 970A-DS3
6. Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6570 2GB DDR3
7. Using my existing DVD Drive and CM Elite 360 Casing.

I will be using it mainly for storing my data (songs, videos, movies, series ). Also to keep my important work files and docs. And also you know what *ehem ehem*.

I will be doing gaming such as CS, COD, L4D, RA3 and etc.

This will also be hooked up to a 32 Inch LED T.V in my room (serves as my monitor).

Do you guys think this setup is good enough or I need to change a few things?

Thanks.

Cheers.

Not good idea since i3 3220 beat FX 8120 in gaming http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/434?vs=677# . Blue is best value HDD. CM PSU are not recommended except few high model. HD6570 is not gaming card doh.gif

Intel Core i3 3220 3.1GHz RM360
MSI H77MA-G43 RM289
Corsair 1333 ram 4GB RM57
MSI HD7770 1GB RM449
FSP Hexa 500w PSU RM150
WD Blue 2TB HDD RM299

Hello i need a recommendation for a budget rig.
Budget would be around 1.5k-1.8k but maybe can stretch to 2k.

Mostly for playing games and multi-tasking.
Games i play would be just dota,dota2,counter strike global offensive,diablo3.

I might reuse my old hdd which is a Wd caviar green 500gb sata/32mb cache.
I am not really sure if i could reuse it.so i need some opinions.
I also have a monitor which supports reso of 1920 by 1080 21.5 inch asus .
These are the only things i might reuse..

Also i would like if the OS is included in the quote pls.
I might purchase a new rig next month..
Thanks to all for help.

Guys can you tell me if this MOBO support surround sound?

http://my.msi.com/product/mb/H77MA-G43.html#/?div=Basic

There are 6 audio out ports but does it mean it can transmit surround/stereo sound to GPU then via HDMI to TV? Or it's only capable of outputting 6 analog signals?
