I just want to whether this rig handle Guild Wars 2 at Max High ? resolution might be 1080 or lesser.

Is this rig better than lenove y580 at handling Guild Wars 2?

What about other games, such as Mass effect 3 or GTA V(upcoming). Can this rig handle such games at High setting?

Thanks agains guys smile.gif

1. take other model of casing, cm 430 bad cable management, opt for xigmatek asgard pro
2. do u really need those features on the asus v-pro mobo?
3. performance ram won't help in gaming, no improvement that u can feel
4. never take cm psu especially extreme and gx series. your system need 500w min, u can opt for enermax naxn82+ 550w rm215 for more future proof
5. odd can opt for liteon, cheap and good, avoid samsung
6. i assume u wanna oc, so u need an aftermarket cooler, suggest cm 612s rm1xx

1. great
2. do u need sli/cfx in future?
3. even value 1333 is enough, but u can opt for those 1600 for cosmetic purpose tongue.gif
4. yes 550w is sufficient. even the high end card like gtx 680 and amd 7970 only require 500w to run (if u go gtx 690 then u need 650w tongue.gif)
5. great
6. if u buying those part now, i suggest to buy the cooler together one shot so u can save the trouble change cooler in future

Hey guys, can try to suggest spire gemini rm149 from lingloong, I got mine yesterday, very good cooler, on par with v6gt. The design look nice too, the cons is the cooler doesn't come with 2 to 1 pwm adapter

2. if u don't need those, u can opt for asus p8z77-m rm339
4. then fsp 500w rm149 or enermax naxn82+ 550w rm215
6. thumbup.gif

for the mobo, u can opt for the one bro cable707 recommended, asrock z77 extreme4 rm469 but u might not fully utilizing it coz it's the most affordable sli/cfx mobo available. it's up to u. most price list can get from here

Thanks for the reply smile.gif

nah I can go up to RM 3k or RM 3.5K max, but I still prefer to say under RM 3K if possible as I want to save as much money as possible because my cellphone is also dying cry.gif if not I can max it until RM 4.5K laugh.gif

That is why I choose RM 1.5K budget first, to gauge how far I can save hmm.gif

I don't think I need a monitor, I have one very old monitor. I have no idea about it's resolution but I think it can go up to 1080. But it doesn't really concern me as I can hook it up to tv. Ah and the monitor is not one of those bulky hulky design, the thin lcd type from acer 17"

Keyboard, mouse and speaker(I use cool.gif most of the time) are also not a priority.

If I may add, I'm looking for an eco friendly rig, consume less electricity and silent nod.gif

Sorry if I ask too much

sweat.gif Hello Guys!

I am a noob when it comes to assembling desktops.

Currently I am given a budget for a computer is RM2k including probably a 20" screen and accesories. Also If possible I'd like my computer to be able to link to Tv via HDMI

Purpose- Watching HD movies, playing games like ragnarok/dota/HON/LOL

My last desktop is currently 10 years old so I have no idea what to do with it. Suggestions anyone? >:D

Also I might want to upgrade in near future when I have enough cash.

Suggestions please? If possible list down the pros and cons of each device chosen. I know I am asking a bit much but because I am new I need to know what does what and why. sweat.gif

Really Thank you very muchie in advance :3 notworthy.gif thumbup.gif
