Alex Ferguson wants Usain Bolt to play in charity match between Man Utd and Real Madrid legends
Ferguson told Man United's official magazine, Inside United (via The Sun): "Usain's a character and a big United fan. "But it's interesting he says he'd like to play in a charity game. It could be brilliant, and next year when we play Real Madrid's Legends again, there could be opportunities to bring him up and see how he does." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/soccer-dirty...40854--sow.html lol |

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ Sep 5 2012, 11:26 AM) I guess it is normal for "fans" to be feeling wee bit disappointed after the first 3 games. I am not fully satisfied with their performance level, but I am happy that they did what the team had to do, and by winning the last two games. Everton is such an established team, condemned by the terrific form of Fellaini and poor form overall by United, except one or two players really. Ando and Nani's first season here.. It took twelve games for us to explode into form. We only scored more than once in two games before that. Hope it won't take that long because this time unlike those days, our defence is leaking badly(so far).United have not been playing up to the standards yet, with generally poor showing but it is understandable after SAF had to do few changes here and there because of injuries, players just coming back after Euro 2012. I am waiting for the "automatic first team players" to come back from injuries and play together for the next few games, then I would judge them. Added on September 5, 2012, 1:47 pm QUOTE(pisces88 @ Sep 4 2012, 08:15 PM) stop critize Lindegaard la, he's definitely more than average. see that double save in the reserve game prior to the Soton game, then u know why SAF willing to gamble on him. He's worthy to challenge DG. DG better with ball at his feet, fine, but how about penalty box command? rushing out to clear/punch balls? So we continue to rotate the GKs? Choose one, and stick with the guy whoever that is. Doesn't do anybody good when we keep rotating them, although I very well understand the reason for it..DDG is young so need to 'teach/protect' him a bit now and then by benching him everynow and then. And Lindegaard need games as well. Still don't agree with it though after what happened last season.by the way here are stats midway through the EPL last season : http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/featur...d-better-de-gea also, here's the complete stat for 2011's EPL : Lindegaard : http://scores.nbcsports.msnbc.com/epl/play...sp?player=45586 De Gea : http://scores.nbcsports.msnbc.com/epl/play...sp?player=94871 summarizing some important stats, Lindegaard played 8, conceded 4, Save Pct.(Percentage) was 83.3 De Gea played 29, conceded 29, Save Pct.(Percentage) was 78.2 Stats dont tel the whole story, i know. Some might say Lindegaard played against weaker opponents etc. Put him in big games and give him long runs of games then. We'll see if he performs. Added on September 5, 2012, 1:53 pm QUOTE(roytomas8998 @ Sep 5 2012, 07:57 AM) CR7 really baffles me...first want to join RM coz of money, glamour and prestige..now moaning about "professional issue"... He joined Real because it was his dream club... or failing that, Barca. To almost everyone out there, they have a bigger pull. It was never about money. We just need to face the facts that we're not the #1 stops for most players when those two are involved.Come on, man..mau gaji banyak cakap sajalah, no need to say and give all kind of things...unless its mourinho "mind games"... QUOTE(roytomas8998 @ Sep 5 2012, 11:50 AM) the prospect of fabregas and ronaldo playing for us is indeed mouthwatering... It has always been that way.. it's just these days, we hear it more. Plus the money the others can offer really make the players big headed asking for more from every other club.but salary wise... footballers nowadays...like a high-class B@#!... a lot of complaints... hard to find "loyal" players nowadays compared to paolo maldini, totti, g.neville, giggs, scholes... QUOTE(mavericksam @ Sep 5 2012, 02:01 PM) Neil Custis. I hate him. Write shit all the time.As for Fabregas.. wud love to see him here. Never in a million chance of it happening tho. Xavi will slow down soon, and he will take over. He was awesome even when he's still a teenager bossing games in the EPL. Awesome player. Same goes for Wilshere. |

Neymar? Please no. Overhyped player, he is.
If anything, I rather United go for that Leandro guy. He looks like a useful player. A bit like Fred, who is stronger in the air than the feet. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Fabregas and Wilshere. Two excellent young midfielders I have seen within current generation. Have yet to watch Wilshere and Cleverley bossing the midfield for Inguland, but hopefully it will come soon. Seriously, I don't mind seeing Fabregas here, but very unlikely as he would be the natural successor to Xavi. Well you never know, perhaps Barca is thinking Thiago would be the one to succeed Xavi instead of Fab. If he is available for cheap (more or less Kagawa and van Persie price), then why not. He would be the natural successor to Scholes instead |

Xavi is still 32, I don't see any reason why he won't be able to follow Scholes' footstep, playing til age 38 and still counting. It was indeed a poor choice by Fab when he left AFC if he's not ready to be much working as bench warmer for first several seasons, just hope by then his progression as player won't be disturbed or even moving backward. but he still secured 23 starts last season at La Liga, not really bad.
but moving to United, lol not a chance, unless his little man inside him suddenly brainwashed hahaha |
