Wouldn't say I'm disappointed. The kid has the heart and but sadly not the ability/potential. The fact that he is a local kid might let some fans down hoping that he would be the long awaited local kid to break into our first 11 since Carra and Stevie. However the truth is he simply isn't good enough for a top 4 team assuming that is our target as evident with some of his sub-par performances last season in the absence of Lucas. Would he even be on the bench of City, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs? I honestly don't think so especially when we have brought in Allen and Sahin with Shelvey putting in some impressive displays. Let's not forget he is already 23, an age where most players are looking for regular first team football. Surely it will benefit him most if he is able to play regularly elsewhere much like Danny Guthrie.

Good riddance, i am not a fan of Spearing.

let's just sell everyone from pre-BR times and buy Swansea plus whoever else BR wants.

Some fans get over eager to ditch players too fast imho, and champion a  system that had Swansea finish BELOW us last season. Oh well.

The lack of goals is due to lack of quality in the squad and not the system. Early days, but Laudrup looks to have done well in the transfer market to improve Swansea's goalscoring ability.

You're right about not getting carried away, but it's not a wholesale change to the team is it? I reckon Brendan's philosophy is not far from what KK was trying to get us to play last season, no?

one more point. BR is way more straight forward and strict when he talk to his player. More like bill shankly.
