you don't really need to cut the door panel but the original speaker cover. so in future if you need to reinstall back, just find a speaker cover that you don't need to replace with the original speaker  icon_rolleyes.gif
still will need to cut the panel. tis is just incase, in-future i would like to change, i does not have the original cover d as it's been cut. it's ok. let's see how...

anyway guys... were wondering do you change the ac cabin filter ar? my kenari already 7years and i had never change it before! only lately i see alot of sellers in LYN are selling such cabin filter...

does it work or should i ask, do i need to change it?

well, until today, my ac is great! there's always a say, when it's not spoilt, do not change it... hahaaa!

those ac cabin filter you will need to cut your blower to put in.
my aircond mech suggest me to clean up the carpet, especially the one at front left, because air will go in from there.

O... gotto cut a hole har? Better not then else once missed or did a bad job... that's it for my blower case... will always leaked ac... coz' i saw there are people selling it online but i cant find where is my cabin filter inside or nearby the blower. I checked my colleague's alza and they cabin filter got an opener to remove the cabin filter easily.

13" as there's not much of good tires left. Yoko A-drive got 13" ar? I also dono tho but recently i saw michelin ad, they already got 13" for michelin xm1 or is it xm2... check that out. if for me, i'll avoid silverstone, sime tyres... as well as continental... well, not my preferred tyres. hehe...

as for engine mounting... those that quoted you below rm750... mostly are not original. original inclusive of installation sure to be above rm750... do ask around. Just do not being conned by those not honest workshop saying it's ORIGINAL but selling you 3pcs for rm500... well, also do not be fooled by the look or packing of it... imitation one comes in a plastic WITH daihatsu and their barcode or QR code too! looked exactly like ori but it's not... just look for a honest workshop... tat's more important...

Thank you for everyone's feedback. Well, my kenari is my daily beater... it gives a good ride to me... thumbup.gif

a/c cabin filter: new model like Alza have the slot for filter, it's so called plug 'n' play, but new car don't come with it.

engine mounting: maybe we can name out the brand we are using so that others still looking around can have some idea? the brand i'm using is Akiro, it's a orange-black color box. price should be rm350~400.

radiator fan: i'm thinking if to change higher rpm motor will be better then the fan blade itself? because i always get to see people sell the motor and/or whole fan + motor assy, claiming it's better?

i know a workshop that i can service and repair my own car myself. of course that's because i know the owner quite well la, so i have special priority...

the workshop owner source the engine mounting for me so it's quite hassle free for me la, because i know the brand i'm using is quite hard to find, tried my luck at a few spare part shop.
