QUOTE(jaesern @ Aug 21 2012, 03:57 PM) you don't really need to cut the door panel but the original speaker cover. so in future if you need to reinstall back, just find a speaker cover that you don't need to replace with the original speaker still will need to cut the panel. tis is just incase, in-future i would like to change, i does not have the original cover d as it's been cut. it's ok. let's see how... anyway guys... were wondering do you change the ac cabin filter ar? my kenari already 7years and i had never change it before! only lately i see alot of sellers in LYN are selling such cabin filter... does it work or should i ask, do i need to change it? well, until today, my ac is great! there's always a say, when it's not spoilt, do not change it... hahaaa! |

Morel 4C if i'm not wrong... hu : Kenwood kdc-u446 mid : stellar rear speaker : pioneer no woofer..lol actually u can find slim speaker. its can fit inside the stock rear speaker box with ionizer~~ ^^ so no need to cut it. QUOTE(j1122 @ Aug 22 2012, 08:20 PM) 13 inch tyres, any recommend?without change the stock 13 inch rim 13" as there's not much of good tires left. Yoko A-drive got 13" ar? I also dono tho but recently i saw michelin ad, they already got 13" for michelin xm1 or is it xm2... check that out. if for me, i'll avoid silverstone, sime tyres... as well as continental... well, not my preferred tyres. hehe... recently my bird seems shaking very seriously,i think engine mounting kong ady, whats the price to replace them a?ori one,any shop near kepong to get them fix? as for engine mounting... those that quoted you below rm750... mostly are not original. original inclusive of installation sure to be above rm750... do ask around. Just do not being conned by those not honest workshop saying it's ORIGINAL but selling you 3pcs for rm500... well, also do not be fooled by the look or packing of it... imitation one comes in a plastic WITH daihatsu and their barcode or QR code too! looked exactly like ori but it's not... just look for a honest workshop... tat's more important... Thank you for everyone's feedback. Well, my kenari is my daily beater... it gives a good ride to me... |

QUOTE(blueskylim @ Sep 21 2012, 05:14 PM) yes ... my air cond oso like this... not cold one... but i heard people change vitara compressor then cold until u will freeze.. Don't change to vitara compressor. You're regret it later on. Use back original size compressor and for our local rides, Sanden aircond system is the best. I had a vitara compressor last time in my L2s. Also said that it's good and recommended by the ac shop. Well, heck. regret is too late d. So, the mistake i learn is don use something which is not designed for the size of your ride (engine size). Why use a compressor that needs a bigger power to runs it? Our original compressor is good ar. For me, I service it regularly. Every 1 and a half year, i will service it no matter got prob or not. Working well and runs fine to me. |

QUOTE(razuryza @ Nov 29 2012, 01:12 AM) My kenari suddently no reverse light and a/c no pwer.the fan still got. Is there anything related to the fuse? Check for any open wiring... I had once got problem with the aircond compressor not kicking in. See2, it's my rear reverse light which accident before and the open wires were touching each other hence creating the problem. I thought damn, ac rosak sure expensif to fix. check3... took a long time to diagnose too as the ac man checked the compressor is working fine but dono why it don work. lastly, they found the problem and cover the 'open wire' and any wires are not touching each other and now everything works fine... try find the problem see else it won't suddenly goes off lidat... |

QUOTE(razuryza @ Nov 29 2012, 03:38 PM) thanx for the reply. Great to hear that it's been fixed! yeah.. i checked already.. and found the fuse under the steering is burned. replaced, and got burned again when reversing the car. suspecting the wiring of the reverse light is the culprit. checked and found the wiring touch each other. repair it.. and all goes well |
