QUOTE(tashfinsheikh @ Aug 21 2012, 05:04 PM) after you mentioned it, I checked mine, it seems like a tiny part of my sim golden part was cut off. I'm probably gonna go to maxis soon and get them to make a proper microSIM for me..maybe thats the problem hopefully for free.. QUOTE(TonyNukem @ Aug 21 2012, 05:04 PM) Hot? No.Warm? Yes. ipad 3 was warm too, people made a huge fuss about it. but there really isn't anything that is 'too hot to handle'. just a little bit of heat is normal for most devices nowadays So in conclusion, nope no problem whatsoever |

My baby cousin dropped my phone in the garden and it hit the edge of a flower pot.
About a height of approx 0.5m since he's still a little boy. The phone's screen scratched against the edge of the flower pot, resulting in massive scratches on my screen. Luckily, the scratches was only on the screen protector. I was so worried. I took off the screen protector because it was badly scratched up, luckily the actual screen of my phone was still spotless. The phone later landed on the grass, so no nicks or scratches on the phone's body. I was using the Curved Crystal screen protector by SGP. Protected my phone very well.. That was a really lucky fall.. phew » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Aug 23 2012, 09:11 PM |

QUOTE(Crossover @ Aug 23 2012, 07:54 PM) Ur great review on SGP Curved Crystal had caught me successfully, as i am also a FlexHD user, dont like it at all, keep waiting for a good SP, now that u had made a comparison, can't wait to get myself a piece of Curved Crystal on my S3, hope the Curved Crystal will give a similar effect like SGP Oleophonic. It's actually not really much of fingerprint resistant.Hey, i remembered a commercial about the drop test on gorilla glass, the fall of your phone may not subject to any scratch even without SPÂ just a LITTLE BIT more fingerprint resistant compared to naked screen / other SP's. Anyway, I'm gonna go without a SP from tomorrow onwards after my flip case arrives. I still prefer naked screen feeling no matter how This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Aug 23 2012, 08:01 PM |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 23 2012, 09:51 PM) Actually..any damage from falls depend on the angle of phone drop once it reached the surface. Falling flat on the face will minimise damage to the screen. If fall on its side or bucu/point then prepare for the worst. Height and type of surface also play factor in such falls. luckily this time it drop on thick carpet grass. only damage sustained is from the phone kissing the flower pot |
