QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Aug 17 2012, 02:02 PM) Same like all the brandless car usb charger. Thanks for the link AskarPerang. Can get from here instead. Cheaper adn colourful choices. Link: http://www.inrainbow.sto.my/product-600107.html btw, i was google'ing ti find out about different current rated chargers. Something that I found in xda forum fo sharing ===================================================================== Samsung Stock Charger - 5V 1A Generic Charger - 5V 2A FIGHT!!! Stock Charger with pin 2&3 short: max current - 0.63 amps, battery info showing AC connected. http://www.hefman.co.uk/Web/stock.jpg Generic 5V 2A Charger without shorting dongle: max current - 0.42 amps, battery info showing USB connected. http://www.hefman.co.uk/Web/genericwithout.jpg Generic 5V 2A Charger with shorting dongle: max current - 0.90 amps, battery info showing AC connected. http://www.hefman.co.uk/Web/genericwith.jpg generic charger with pin 2&3 shorted wins but charging current is limited internally in the GS3 to 0.9 amps. still faster than stock charger. Conclusion; there is a mild benefit to non stock charger given pin 2&3 short but not by much. not possible to damage device or battery by delivering too much current due to device internal limits. speculation complete. ===================================================================== http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...=1687302&page=4 I'm in the midst of confusion to get 1A or 2A car charger. Will there be any impact to the phone if using 2A charger? Any professional advice are welcome... |

Guys anyway to edit .vcf file generated by the export from contacts. What software to use to edit on a PC. My .vcf backup from my previous phone is screwed big time. Thousands of duplicates, I used many soft to remove/merge the duplicate doesn't work.
A lot of blank contacts as well, repetitive without any contact details. Phone contact become very slow bcos there are close to 14000 contacts now. Anyone can help intro a software I can edit and regenerate the .vcf file on a PC after editing and restore to phone. Very much appreciated if someone can help. Cheers |
