QUOTE(GLEwon @ Aug 20 2012, 05:49 PM) value for money! I tried Beyer XP1,2,3 and found that all of them sound better than Jays!! on the price of A-Jays 1, the sounding can beat A-Jays 3 and 4....! That's amazing! That's what an audiophile brand, Beyerdynamic should sounds like... High end sounding...

I just hope Beyer attacks the high end universal IEM market to compete head-2-head with AKG, Senn, Westone, etc. Let Dynamic Driver shine!
Btw, really wonder how would "Tesla" IEM sound like. Haha. Beyer let's make my dream come true!
On topic: It's good. I can't say it's definitely better than something pricier like Jays. But it's just good for customers wanting something special and control the budget below Rm200. Hey, RM199 is still Rm1 below Rm200! Haha.

yeap the pricing is pretty crazy. I guess they are targeting entry market, and then moving up to the top. Maybe it is a new production line for the brand.
It is not an easy task to compete with EX1000, as the price is such a big different.
but im confidently to admit this earphone can compete earphone in RM300 - RM700 range.

Auditioned the XP1, XP2 (**20+ hours burning) and XP3 (no burning). ** I think somewhere around there...
XP1 is totally out.. LOL I'm not sure anyone here like the Bass but, if you like Beats then it's an OK, the Bass is just... overwhelm, so much that it covers much of the mid and high. XP2 is balance, but the Bass IMO still high (perhaps more burning needed?), according to Sim (the shop owner), 3 of the units focus on Bass so I guess that's pretty much it. XP3 is well, better, detail, clarity is in there, has potential and shall do another audition coming Saturday if not Sunday, definitely gonna choose between BeyerDynamic XP3 vs VSonic GR02 (Bass enhance edition).
For most audiophile, XP3 is top choice, XP2 is for most pop song, XP1... umm... I don't know, Beats lover perhaps? haha~

I think no headphone, earphone able to challenge Monster beats bass. They are just 80% about bass in the songs.
