hi all, would like some help here

i pulled a new cat5 cable from the riser to my house currently it's set up as the phone line is directly copper to copper (stripped phone line mated with stripped green/stripedgreen cable on the cat5). i can get max speeds when testing with maxis speedtest.

however, when i connect the cable to a termination point (AMP Cat3 keystone), the speed drops to 6MB maximum.

Is there anything i can do to fix this besides leaving it copper to copper direct?

ya,if u only received the called u can choose the prepaid plan.rm26 is too expensive that only for rental fee.if u choose prepaid the rental fee is waived

Not sure whether you guys faced this issue before,
Switch on the modem and router and when the light is stable, can surf the internet for 7 to 10 mins then my laptop pc will show no internet access, restart the modem and router and can be use for roughly the same period and then no more internet access.

My phome is different story as i will not have internet access till i switch off my phone wifi and on back and stuck at obtaining ip address.

Has been facing this issue since sunday.......

hi all,

anyone know how come my dect phone shows max call exceeded when i want to make a call? Before this a call for 2 min and later when want to make another cal display shows max call exceeded, any solution?

nevermind..problem solved after I off the gateway for 1 hour & turn it on again. biggrin.gif

I opted for E-Billing for Maxis Home Fibre and STILL receive paper statement...+ e-Bill. Maxis really wasting money.

Guys,

Why is maxis telling me that my house is unable to install for the fiber while it is clearly stated as available from the coverage checking page? There are neighbors having the service but my house not available? I understand if they tell me the port is full but that fella clearly told me even same building yet my house is unavailable sweat.gif (am staying in a condo)
