Has anyone tried f1 eagle tyres 18". If so how much a piece? How's the road noise and handling? What about ultra racing bars, any comment?

Stock tyre is 225/45/18, right?. F1 only have 235/45/18 will that be an issue when taking full u turn or corner, will it hit the side walls?

Hmmm.. Well this will be on my wishlist then. Any idea of the price?

Buddies, get ready for a really disappointing warranty / service experience with your sunroof problems. I've spent 3-4months and going in and out of the SC 4-5 times asking them to rectify my problems, nothing gets done at the end. They will try to grease/glue/tighten whatever they can but these temporary solutions won't resolve your problems completely. My problems reoccurred 3-days after collecting it from the SC.

They had once suggested to replace my windscreen because they can't resolve my jumping wiper problem (off course i stopped them) but really unfortunately, in the process of replacing my rearview mirror, they have accidentally yanked off the plastic peg holding the rearview mirror and shattered my windscreen. And these fellas curi-curi replaced my windscreen without notifying me before hand (and there goes my 3M tinting). Until now they haven't offered me any form of apology or compensation.

So, out of extreme frustration, I made a little video for KIA MOTORS, i'm gonna post it all over KIA's facebook pages and whatever social network sites they have, after my meeting with NAZA KIA this coming Wednesday pertaining my problems. Since Paris Motor Show is coming, i'll take this opportunity to grab a bit of their attention.

The new K5 spec WILL NOT have the LCD display and built-in GPS. This is from reliable sources. There may be some minor interior changes & enhancement. But can't confirm the actual spec 100% until the car is out at the outlets. The NU engine is confirmed.

Is this really true on this new engine.... so sudden change with for newly launch of car in Malaysia...

Anyway, exactly when will this new engine be launch anyway, as I am thinking to buy one soon....
but now with this..... which one should I choose then - Theta II or Nu Engine.

There is another link mentioned that coming 2K13 Sonata & K5 equipped with NU 2.0 CVVL engine. It can achieves 172ps & 20.5kg-m (170HP & 201Nm).

Then, as a K5 owner how do we protect our car from being stolen ? 

I drove up to KL from Kluang last weekend after my 1st service. Speed was about 115km/h and I used the auto cruise a lot of the time. But the best FC I could get on the display was 7.8l/100km. Will this get better over time?

I also found that speed shown on the speedometer was about 5km/h more than that displayed on my GPS. When i drove my company car ( Camry ), both the speedometer and GPS showed the same fig. Anyone else having this issue?

Driving around in Kluang gave me a reading of about 14 to 15l/100Km. 

The newer version of Sportage with NU engine is already available and comes with MDPS (Motor Driven Power Steering) or Electric Steering instead of the previous one with Hydraulic Steering.

It would be interesting if the new spec for K5 also comes with MDPS! We all just have to wait and see! MDPS has speed sensing feature, which tightens the steering at high speed for safety reasons and loosen it for better maneuverability during low speed or parking etc..

My friend just sold it to me for the price of RM128K, as this is 2012 manufacture with rear air-cond and since she only use it for less than 5 months and total mileage is about 7000km so I think the price is quite justified. 

Thanks for your input, however I thought I am not taking any advantage from her since we are good friend, and I would guess if the price for 1 year old optima is depreciate for RM20K or more then the price I bought is not really below market price, adding up the insurance premium is already RM130K. A brand new optima with 55% NCB is about RM141K. So for a half year car I guess RM10K less is quite reasonable.

anyway, just to ask cybermaster98 you have any experience on the HAC ( Hill Assist Control ) ?
when we stop at a inclined slope, gear shift to N, parking brake depressed. So, when we need to move the car again, first right foot depress brake pedal, then follow by release the parking brack, then follow by shift the gear to D, then follow by release the right foot brake pedal, this way the HAC should function for 2 seconds ? 

Mine is 2.49% from MBB. Approved last month

to all the K5 owners here, if you've given a chance again to buy a brand new car again (provided with a same budget on your hand), will you choose this car again?

i am about to buy this car, but i am worry this car is not reliable in a long run (not sure) and hoping this car would be a problem-free car (provided i taking good care at it)
