BRDB not much experience in developing township rite? they got lucky with Bangsar nia.

Guocoland not a good developer, IMO.

TanTan and LohLoh are boutique developers.....and high end type.

Hong Bee is a new force...and can be at par with Park Perdana, maybe not so premium type.

MahSing needs to rely on other bigger developers to improve the township....

LOW YAT.....no eye see.......hopeless.... rclxub.gif

I currently live in DPC and is among the first few buyers that bought into their development. Price I paid was about $230psf on builup in 2006.

When I saw this BRDB's TamanSari, I fell in love with it. That piece of land is just nice. It reminds me of DPC when I first saw it, minus all the development we see now. I only saw Safa which was completed then and Nadia was only starting earthworks. Safa was like 1 Utama kind of design, but build quality was better.

Fast track to today, and we have a basis of BRDB's landed development in Senja, in Sri Kembangan. Leasehold, the plot size is much smaller, and the buildup price is >$600psf.

BRDB properties have a sexy feel to it in terms of landscaping and it has a resort feel. Another point is that GDP Architects is in charge of the whole TamanSari, not just individual phases. Which is a very good approach.

So I say Taman Sari is a good buy, best of all in Rawang. Better than the semi-dees and bungalows that's offered by the rest of the players.

And so I bought a unit in Camellia.

Camellia which type you bought?

AG3 has its unique advantage. Proper strata titled guarded and gated.
The Rise location is better IMO, the best among the 3. MR is too deep in.
Product Quality wise, i think Hong Bee can deliver better than Mah Sing and Guocoland.
*
Other reason my friend choose AG3 is no need to wait 3yrs down the road, AG3 handover end of this year, got it own clubhouse, no need to share with other phase and of course got kaki like me stay in Ag3

No surprise, Rawang to Kota Damansara very convenient, you even can park your car at Rawang KTM then exchange MRT1 at Sungai Buloh interchange, 4-5 few stations can arrive and it ready in 2017

A similar home in DPC with this kind of buildup is easily above RM2mil. The so-called semi-dees and bungalows, some with much smaller buildups that they sell nowadays are about the same price if not more than this Type C.

Semi-dees and bungalows are yesterday's concept. Nowadays, it's called a Villa or Zero lot houses. Zero-lot bungalows!

Was deciding between Type F & C. But that extra 5 feet at the back is only good for a garden. I don't have much green fingers and time to tend the garden.

Long time ago, people will buy land and build their holiday home near some waterfront. Nowadays, with security issues and high cost of land, that is a bit difficult to execute. And so, for me, this is the holiday home.

A Seremban 2 bungalow with similar buildup is already now more than RM2mil. An average condo with not much to shout about, in Kepong area is now RM600psf.

South Klang Valley does not appeal to me. It has a somehow Bumi feel. Whereas North Klang Valley is closer to the more happening North West Klang Valley, i.e. DPC, Kota Damansara, 1U & Taman Tun and Mt Kiara.

You can say this part of the new Rawang is something like Seremban 2. The new area will appreciate faster than the old.

So that was how I came to my decision. When no one is buying and all looks gloom, this is the best time to buy.

Type C/F quite tempting, the only reason turn my friend off is the toilet in first/second floor, no window.

Frankly, I did not notice the missing windows. Maybe there are already many windows and glass doors already. This will be a holiday-cum-retirement home for me one day.

It's all about better air ventilation and lower humidity in the room.

developers just play with fancy words nia....

what linked bungalows...bungalow in the sky and etc.....

by definition, a bungalow is a free standing structure. when it is linked with another owner....how can it be called "bungalow"?

and dun even let me start with Villa.......

Basically you are getting a link house with fancy name and cut throat price....that's all.

Internal layout is nice especially with the double volume dining area.....
But I still prefer homes with concept, such as landscaping in between houses, rather than a small narrow strip.....
