I realized that I using the wrong investment tool/technique to park my money >.< not a sifu here, but just want to know when you start this investment and what technique that you did wrong? maybe if you clarify further will help get a better answer? also, when you said that you plan to withdraw, may I know the timeframe, just estimation? |

QUOTE(debbieyss @ Oct 15 2013, 04:07 PM) Hi just want to ask a simple question here: Also can wait till they request to increase the fund size from SC. Just don't know when they want to do that I have been looking for a chance to buy Public Bond Fund for few years but up to current it is still closed for investment due to investment quota full. I really have no clue. Should I say it's only when market crash and more people selling their Public Bond Fund then only I have chance to buy? |

Yes, not only on other mutual fund, but PM itself has done this on its other fund too. Just there's no use to wait for this opportunity cause we have no control over that. Its all depend on the fund manager. |

QUOTE(Clareen @ Dec 17 2013, 05:43 PM) yes first time invest on mutual funds, all the while i put all my cash into fd. err cool down period i could get my refund? or i could actually choose to transfer my fund to others potential mutual funds with a service charge of RM25? I think its better for you to register online account PMO and take care yourself of your money.May refer transit post on how to get a PMO. |

QUOTE(williamlee_1985 @ Dec 18 2013, 12:15 PM) I'm also never know about this. What I know EPF has increase the the limit of amount that can take out to invest outside. So, we can only withdraw less from before. For PM, the last day to withdraw according to the current rate is 29 December 2013, 12 noon. After that will use new limit. |

QUOTE(Readable @ Dec 18 2013, 06:49 PM) tq all the sifu advise, bcoz I hear sumbody say the 20% tax impose on the private saving is included the UT @@'' since the rumors is not true, so you no need to bother about it.so is like GE/HLA/ Pru retire plan consider as private saving too? insurance plan for sure is for different purpose from unit trust, and there's no spesific plan for 'private saving' unless as only general term. |

QUOTE by j.passing.by Edit: 1. Instead of parking temporary in bond funds, a money market fund could be better. Thanks for the new idea of of withdrawal EPF in one go into bond/money market. I never think of that before. Just would like you to eloborate more regarding money market is better than bond for EPF one go withdrawal. Can't really think a good reason for it. Thanks in advance. |
