Both 2 fund is bonds, so not need to bother first.
New bond will take time to perform.

anyone know the indonesia fund now worth to buy ??

Hard for me to answer this question.
Just I'm also looking at PINDOSF now. Lowest on 2 Sep (0.2203) while currently already 0.24.
I'm also planning to open new fund here.

Hi, some questions to ask and I hope Sifus here can help me out. My funds(add all together) right now is in a loss stat of 200+,because of the cost averaging technique I am using  .. I wish to withdraw the money for other purposes later .. Can't confirm when yet.. What shall I do now to cut the loses or even gain from it ? I realized that I using the wrong investment tool/technique to park my money >.<
*
not a sifu here,
but just want to know when you start this investment and what technique that you did wrong?
maybe if you clarify further will help get a better answer?

also, when you said that you plan to withdraw, may I know the timeframe, just estimation?

Hi just want to ask a simple question here:

I have been looking for a chance to buy Public Bond Fund for few years but up to current it is still closed for investment due to investment quota full. I really have no clue.

Should I say it's only when market crash and more people selling their Public Bond Fund then only I have chance to buy?
*
Also can wait till they request to increase the fund size from SC. Just don't know when they want to do that tongue.gif

Yes, not only on other mutual fund, but PM itself has done this on its other fund too.
Just there's no use to wait for this opportunity cause we have no control over that. Its all depend on the fund manager.

so now if we withdraw epf money to invest in UT will get 25% tax eh? sob sob
*
I'm also never know about this.
What I know EPF has increase the the limit of amount that can take out to invest outside. So, we can only withdraw less from before. For PM, the last day to withdraw according to the current rate is 29 December 2013, 12 noon. After that will use new limit.

Public Mutual is 1 of 8 company that offer Private Retirement Scheme.

tq all the sifu advise, bcoz I hear sumbody say the 20% tax impose on the private saving is included the UT @@''

so is like GE/HLA/ Pru retire plan consider as private saving too?
*
since the rumors is not true, so you no need to bother about it.

insurance plan for sure is for different purpose from unit trust, and there's no spesific plan for 'private saving' unless as only general term.

Edit:
1. Instead of parking temporary in bond funds, a money market fund could be better.

Thanks for the new idea of of withdrawal EPF in one go into bond/money market. I never think of that before.
Just would like you to eloborate more regarding money market is better than bond for EPF one go withdrawal. Can't really think a good reason for it.

Thanks in advance.
