QUOTE(jtcs87 @ Jan 10 2013, 10:28 PM) PUBLIC REGIONAL SECTOR FUND (PRSEC) PUBLIC FAR-EAST SELECT FUND (PFES) I was plan to go for these two product for my initial start up on PM. Any advice? these were my 2 rides for Foreign Equity when i was doing cash investments with PM IMHO: BOTH have a % in Greater China, thus if U use both, U may be overweighting in that area. ie. "Win big, lose big" if surge or fall like a stone. Are U mentally prepared?

QUOTE(1282009 @ Jan 12 2013, 03:44 PM) Nop. I plan to invest in another fund (preferably equity fund) after switching from PIX to PSBF. Any advices? Not a pro here and not so familiar with PM/PB funds.. My plan for this year is to invest in funds with Asia ex Japan exposure and REITs fund. Many are saying should have more weightage on equities, invest in China and Greater China funds, Global Emerging markets funds, BRIC as well..

Yes, public focus select fund, it just outperform my favorite Smallcap fund. If you switch from EPF, should choose pb islamic bond fund (the best bond fund for public and only can invest thru EPF now).

QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 14 2013, 10:59 PM) This new fund's proposed portfolio is like Public enhanced bond where 70% in Fixed income, 30% equity. But then Public enhanced bond fund's initial service charge is only 0.25%, compared to this newly launched fund charging 5.5%. Another overcharged service charge fund from PM/PB.

Although 0.25%, but I got no RM100k to invest into Public Enhanced Bond Fund, how? So, PM know to control their marketing strategics and make u buy the new fund.
