Iirc, don't need to return if your contract is over. But if your contract not yet over, then must return.
I still have my decoder in a junk pile along with piles of old adapters and cables.

Dear Astro Customer, I am Liyth A. Nissirat, I was a customer of astro around 2004, and in 2006 I asked to disconnect my line. Since then I never heared from Astro. Recently I received calls from some ppl claim they are a lawer office for ASTRO and started asking me about my passport number. When I asked them about the reason of the call they claimed that I should pay to ASTRO RM47, Really it shocked me, after almost 6 years ASTRO remembered that I should pay that money. During the past 6 years I didnt' receive anything from ASTRO, and when I asked to disconnect my line, the customer service didn't tell me that there is any money overdue, from where the hell the RM47 came??????
My passport number is not the one the lawer gave to me during the call, also I forgot what was my account number with ASTRO because 6 years have passed, I am afraid that the one calling me is just scam calls. And also how come now after this long time ASTRO is asking me for this amount of money, really it is very amazing that such a big company fall in such a terrible mistakes.
I think we have to get a letter from asstro that there is nothing outstanding,to be safe!
