It could easily cost RM400-RM600. sweat.gif You can try contact HP and ask quotation for screen repair or make a story that you have no time to send for warranty and didn't realize it almost ended. ph34r.gif

Or you can buy a new screen from GS and repair it yourself.

Hello there everyone, I've had my dv6 for about 2-3 years now. Now it's really getting old and problem is, it's starting to be hotter than usual.

Should I take it to the HP Store to replace the heat sink in it? I tried opening the notebook itself and I managed to reach the heat sink in it, cleaned it and it was okay for awhile but it's still getting really hot. So what's your opinions?

Hi, I'm looking for a good HP laptop but the online store doesn't have much options. Was thinking about getting either the ENVY or the dv6. Could anyone recommend a good dv6 laptop please. within the price range of 3000. Thanks. smile.gif
